"What an absolute stunning property this is ! On entry we were met by the most incredible views of the Lakeland fells. Absolutely breathtaking. We loved everything about the house from the gorgeous smell, the furnishings, the decor, the bedrooms & the modern kitchen / dining area. "A very comfortable apartment with spacious accommodation and well equipped kitchen plus extras such laundry facilities. The lounge and dining area is good. The bedroom is large with very comfortable bed and everything needed. The bathroom is beautifully done with large walk in shower. The only observation I would make for the benefit of others is that the two sets of stairs might be tricky for some. Booking was easy and customer service excellent with friendly and helpful staff."

Already knowing the Keswick area well we knew Portinscale would suit us well - outside the bustle of Keswick but within easy walking distance down a nice path, and easy access to local country walks. The cottage was immaculate in both cleanliness and decor - and well equipped - with off street parking. Our adult daughter had the 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds ( would have been a perk if was 2 singles which could be set up as a King...

"Maiden Moor exceeded all expectations. As soon as we walked in it felt inviting as someone had left the heating on for us and smelt very fresh and clean. Had all the home comforts and facilities you could need and very good quality. Highlight was the electric reclining furniture especially after a long walk! Also the location and having 2 parking spaces was such a treat if anyone knows Keswick so being able to walk into town or to Booths across the road was a real bonus!"

"Booked this property along with the upstairs property for a party of 10 ladies! Was very impressed with the close proximity to the town centre, ideal for a short stroll into town and to the lake! The property had everything required, with attention to detail for even the small things like tin opener, grater etc! Everything was immaculate and very cosy! We particularly loved the outdoor patio area with a perfect sun spot late into the evening! We would 100% recommend this property!"

"Spacious property, within walking distance of town. Did report that bins were overflowing outside with black bags piled high both on the floor and on top of the bins on two occasions (appeared bins had not been cleared for weeks). Some areas of 5he property were a little dusty otherwise clean. The kitchen is rather small for a property of its size making it a bit difficult to have more than one person using it at a time, and bath a bit tight to get in/out of. Beds comfy."
