One of our smaller Tybee vacation rentals is the El Rey 1 property on the north part of the island. It features sleeping space for four guests in one bedroom with one bathroom. The floorplan is very cozy with a gourmet kitchen and sitting area in a light and bright room with wood floors. Immediately adjacent is the queen bedroom and across from that is the bathroom with a standing shower and laundry area. The sitting area features a sofa and a flatscreen TV. Like all of our Tybee Island vacation homes, it is meticulously cleaned and decorated to make you feel right at home.

Spend your relaxation time in a tranquil beach atmosphere, but rest assured that you're only 30 minutes from downtown Savannah by car. One of the favorite spots for guests of Tybee vacation rentals is the Tybee Lighthouse on the north end. Towering 154 feet over the island, the lighthouse offers trips to the top and original outbuildings with a museum detailing its history. Probably the second top spot on Tybee is the Marine Science Center near the southeast of the island. This fun learning center features touch tanks, aquatic displays, ecology tours and more. It's an excellent spot for visitors with children.

North Beach is on the Atlantic, but it's also right on the mouth of the Savannah River, making it a great place to watch ships come in.

The other two beaches are the Savannah River Beach and the Back River Beach. These are both freshwater beaches and feature low waves and places to spot dolphins. Both beaches are often popular with families.

Drive to Savannah

The place on every Savannah visitor's list is likely to be Forsyth Park. The 26-acre park can be found at the southern end of the Historic District and features walking trails, places to picnic and the picturesque iron fountain.

Nearby is the Monterey Square and The Mercer House, which were featured in the "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" franchise and remain popular tourist spots. Art buffs will enjoy a visit to the Savannah College of Art and Design in the same area. The college also runs several galleries throughout the district.

Southern Belle Pool
Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located at 19 Silver Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

The Pool is open during the below dates and times.
March 1 - Oct 31: Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm.
Nov 1 - Feb 28/29: Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm

Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.

Guests with Pets
This property is not pet-friendly. If you're traveling with a dog, ask us about our pet-friendly properties that accommodate up to 2 dogs (50 lb combined weight max) for a $130 pet fee.

Long-Term Stays
For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For these reservations, we require an additional cleaning at a cost every 30 days. The cleaning cost varies by property. Our office will be in touch to schedule.
