Private cabin with nobstructed views, but there are a few things that would have taken this cabin to 5 stars. 1. The binder provided very little information on how to set the heat which was very finicky. We had to turn the fireplace back on everyday. Our host was responsive, but we ended up having to troubleshoot a few times.2. The curtains in the living room did not completely close. We luckily had a clip which we had to use to close them.3. The water heater emits a loud buzzing sound every so often and lasts for a little while. 4. The shower heads are old and kinda grimey.5. No spices, food storage options (baggies, tupperware, wrap/foil) or ice/ trays provided.6. The bed in the room with the ensuite was very hard and we did not find it super comfortable. Things we liked:1. Unobstructed views of the tallest mountain in the state: Mt. Elbert2. The hot tub was super nice and private with a magnificent and unobstructed view of the mountains 3. The main bedroom was huge with an ensuite bathroom and little sunroom4. Our host was very friendly and responsive when contacted about the issue with the heat5. Very private! Only one cabin behind us and we didnt see them our entire stay.6. 5 minute drive to twin lakes, 15 minutes to Leadville. Both easy drives!
