"Thank you to Tanya for a great experience in her beautiful cabin in the mountains. My friends and I stayed for two nights in March 2024 and the property got at least 24" of snow. Tanya was very helpful in organizing a plow so that we could get out even on the worst day of the storm, but the winter mountain roads are as you expect, so we ended up spending nearly all our time in the cabin. "Squirrel cabin was perfect for our spring break weekend. We had 6 adults and 1 teen which was perfect. The house has everything you need, beds are super comfortable, and there is a lot to do in that area. The hosts graciously helped us when the highway closed down due to high winds. "This is a very cozy cabin in the mountains. There was close to four feet of snow on the deck when we were there during March for Spring Break. It is pet friendly (with a small fee) which was a plus for us! The rug in front of the fireplace had not been vacuumed when we arrived and there were other similar cleaniness concerns, but nothing huge. It is a cabin the mountains! Our only caution would be if you are a group of four and stay multiple days, you may run out of well water if you shower...
