The north entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is just down the road and you'll want to spend as much time on the hiking trails and taking in all the stunning visuals the park has to offer. Park passes are good for several days and thank goodness because you couldn't possibly see everything in one day! Also make sure to check out all the cute gift shops and vintage stores in Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley where you can grab some hip swag. Grab a yummy veggie sandwich at Natural Sisters, a tasty chive scone at Campbell Hill bakery or delicious dumpling tacos at Jelly Donut in downtown Twentynine Palms. Another must-do is to check out some of the unique art installations nearby. From remarkable roadrunner murals in the city to oddly organized tv's and toilets at Noah’s Purifoy, you'll be able to let out an honest "hmm" as you ponder such a clever arrangement. At the end of your stay you could very well tell yourself "I think I've seen it all" after a visit to the Valley of the Palms House.
