Exterior: Drive up to our home and enjoy the serenity of a low-traffic street. Pull up to our horseshoe driveway and see one of the larger-sized lots in the area. Professional landscaping in the front includes Joshua trees, a palo verde tree, oleanders, pomegranate trees, and Sonoran Desert cacti, including prickly pear and cholla. The backyard features a Joshua Tree forest, a heated saltwater pool, a gazebo with a see-through roof for stargazing, a desert beach, a mesquite tree, and a gas BBQ that never runs out of gas. The ULTIMATE BACKYARD also has a basketball hoop by the pool and horseshoes!

Inside: Walk into the massive open floor plan with a dining area featuring a large table that seats 8, which flows into the kitchen with an electric range with quick boil, an inverter microwave for slow cooking, a stainless steel range hood, and a large side-by-side fridge with an ice maker and filtered water. Level 4 granite countertops with oak cabinetry give it a sleek look. The kitchen also has a dishwasher with a 1HP garbage disposal. Off the kitchen is a large living room with a fireplace by the pool patio. The split floorplan has a bonus room on one side with mountain views, a pool table, and trundle beds. On the opposite wing, you’ll find 2 bedrooms, a master suite, and bathrooms featuring travertine tile. The master has a jumbo luxury showerhead.

Office Space: Calling all teleworkers! Our home features office space in one of the bedrooms with comfy office chairs. Each room also has a casting/mirroring-enabled smart TV, which you can use as a second monitor with your laptop if you have the right equipment. Escape the noise in the house and go to your private area to work.

Comfort: Many houses in Twentynine Palms lack air conditioning, relying on swamp coolers. You’re in luck here with AC that blows ice-cold air. We use a HEPA-rated filter to keep dust down. Every bedroom in the house has fans with dimmable lights. All feature wood shutters with blackout curtains for a peaceful night’s rest. All beds have 100% cotton sheets and blankets (duvets are microfiber). Enjoy endless hot water from a tankless electric water heater. The master bathroom features a jumbo-sized showerhead. The house is energy-efficient with dual-pane windows and quality insulation. Mattresses are all medium-firm and fiberglass-free.

Conservation: Our home offers green features. We minimize plastic waste with our bathroom supplies. Our A/C returns to a reasonable temperature range throughout the day. The pool features a saltwater chlorinator. We recycle and expect guests to do the same.

Pool Heat: We have the warmest pool in the low desert. We heat our water in THREE ways! One is with aquathermal solar, second is with gas, third is with a pool blanket. Solar aquathermal is FREE and works well April 1-Sep 30, reaching the mid-80s. Gas heat is needed to keep the pool swimmable from Nov 1-March 30 and is $249 for the first day and $129 for each subsequent day, keeping it at a ridiculously warm 90 degrees. Gas heat in the warmer months from April 1-Sep 30 is $129 for the first day and $89 for each subsequent day, guaranteeing the pool at 90 degrees. Gas heat is available year-round in case the weather is too cold for the electric or solar heater to be effective. The solar blanket is required year-round to keep Mother Nature happy, reducing energy loss by 90%. If you select one add-on, it must be for all days of your booking, not just one day. 90 degrees is similar to a warm bath. Just let us know after booking if you want to add gas heat.

We have plenty of extra blankets and sheets. Note that our roll-away beds are high-end 5-inch $300 models. PLEASE put on a mattress cover. Please use sheets if you sleep on the couch. If you’re putting kids in the rooms, the king beds can accommodate 3 kids each; they are quite large.

Entertainment: Life-sized canvases in the house let you take selfies as if you’re in the national park without leaving! The house offers basketballs to play hoops at the park (5-minute walk), a good selection of board games, poker chips, and card games, plus casting/mirroring-enabled Roku TVs in every room (“BYOS/Bring Your Own Subscription”). We also have a smokeless firepit/BBQ and natural gas grill for unlimited cooking in the backyard! "BYOW/Bring Your Own Wood."

We have the following premium subscription accounts available on our smart TVs: HBO Max, Paramount Plus, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime, and Netflix. We also have Xfinity Cable TV available for mobile phones only to cast to our smart TVs if you have a sports event you need to watch. Please message us for details.

Security: We do have CCTV outside the house to help protect us and help protect you and help protect our neighbors.
