Located in Tucson Country Club Estates, this is a special enclave of larger lot homes, all custom, and next door to the private golf course, tennis and swimming facilities called Tucson Country Club. Ask about memberships and privileges if interested in social, the best golf in town, or tennis at the Club.
Owner/Broker/Developer is a custom designer and builder, and spared no expense, from the exquisite cabinetry, 4' Viking range, custom slab granite counters, two dishwashers, huge open great room, open from Kitchen to three seating areas and room for an informal dinner party for 40+. If you include the adjacent outdoor space, you could double that count.
12' wide curved Eat-in Breakfast bar seats 5 or 6 on the great room side, and several more on the kitchen side, as the arc granite counter faces the range. There is also has a roomy 4' x 8' island, which also has stools and is great to gather while preparing appetizers, drinks, or meals . We have Cabinets galore, under and surrounding all these areas.
Second eat-in counter currently has 4 stools or chairs on one side, and also can have 4 more on opposite side. Beautiful hardwood Mesquite/Sheesham wood 50" round breakfast table with adjacent fireplace at north end of room, with bay windows on each side, looks out at our deck, pool and grass lawn. This table seats 5 or 6 more, and our matching rectangular dining table is currently set for 6 to 8, and there is space to extend to a formal table more than twice its size if ever desired for longer table(s) up to 20' long.
Granite serving counter separates round table from dining table, and all of these granite topped seating areas are highlighted in the photos; you can see how entertaining in all of these areas allow groups to integrate in this award winning huge open design. And all of this opens up to the rest of the great room with two tv areas, one of which is a two sofa and massage chair plus leather reclining easy chair, surrounding a great, heavy old world coffee table. Also integrated in this great room area is a long two sided bar that currently seats 10 on the tall side, (20' perimeter on the outside) and we always have more stools on the opposing or serving lower side with the cabinets below and several bar cabinets backing along with 60" flat screen tv for this area.
We will leave access to our 700 bottle wine cooler, (and discuss which wine available inside!), plus 3 more smaller wine coolers, just in case more space is needed. We have three refrigerators in the house, plus a chest freezer, in the spacious 4 car garage.
Currently set up with a King Bed in the huge Master Suite, with a spacious walk-in two head shower, Jacuzzi tub, and french doors from both the BR and the Bathroom to the yard.
The exercise room has an assortment of machines, including a professional grade Gravitron for dips and pull-ups, that adjusts your weight on the platform to allow you create the correct amount of reps, and increase it in future sessions as you get stronger. It also has a wall mount tv and 8' mirrored closet doors next to the large Nautilus Smith Rack Weight bench with two adjustable height arm pulleys and squat rack, etc..
Lifecycle stair stepper is current outside on back porch, as is the treadmill. The weather is so nice year-round, it seems a shame to keep those indoors, although we do have a second stair stepper inside master too, along with Total Gym in master too. Also a Teeter Hangups Inversion can be left in home for you if desired, as well as a specialized martial arts leg stretcher. We have several yoga mats and roller balls for your use also.
Second Master Suite also has a double sink and Jacuzzi Tub, currently the Second Master set up as an office, and it has two large closets, as does the Master. This second master is 17' wide by 26' long, not including the two walk-in closets and the huge bathroom.
If you would like this suite furnished as a BR, we can add any size bed or beds, or leave as an office for you. Reasonable advance notice will be needed for any customizing. This room has room for up to two large beds, for instance
Guest Suite is a King bed also, with its own sitting room that has a built in granite desk area. It too has a Jacuzzi tub/shower in its own bath, and a large walk-in closet.
The fourth BR is set up with a queen bed, and is also quite large. It has a huge closet and its own bath also, with a Jacuzzi tub. It has sliding Pella French Doors to the backyard, as does the Guest Suite, and as does the Second Master suite / office.
The whole home has custom wood stain with aluminum outside clad windows and french doors or sliders. Built in adjustable between the glass shades on most windows in the home.
The fifth BR is used currently as a library / computer room, has a built in granite desk, and has a queen sized sofa sleeper. We chose not to put doors on the 6' wide opening, but have put up temporary doors when we have had family / guests over who wanted to use this 5th BR. Longer term stays can have a queen bed instead of the sofa sleeper swap arranged.
The home sits on nearly an acre, and has large double Alder Front doors, with thick banker's glass sidelights and arched glass above. Lighted Art work niches and statues will all stay unless you have special pieces you wish to highlight.
The whole home is set with custom laid 18" Travertine marble tile, with a deco band in each room. The Alder cabinets are all custom had hewn and special custom stain, and most of the lights in the home are LED.
We have three heat pumps for AC and Heat, which are zoned, and we currently have a half dozen or more TV's throughout the home. Every room is wired for internet hardwire as well as half dozen or so DirecTv satellite receivers, and we currently have both DirecTv with 50 movie channels and what is called the Ultimate package, and we use super high speed Comcast for internet
We have ceiling fans with lights in almost every room, approximately 9 Hunter fans.
We are well equipped with linens and dishes, and gadegets, from food processors to Ninja blenders and spiralizers, to convection pressure cooker ovens, to coffee grinders and high quality knives and utensils. Pasta water filler above the Viking convection double over 6 burner range. We do not use the grill inside on the viking, too messy !
Our front yard is grass with mesquite trees, and has a double entry driveway on Miramar Drive, and it is double wide for lots of parking and circulation, if needed, and a has a basketball hoop.
The side driveway on Santa Ynez is our entry into our 4 car garage (two double garages). One is extra deep 28', can fit a stretch limo inside, but we have extra freezer and storage on the deep end of it currently.
Outdoors is fantastic, we have a look at the Golf course from the corner of our yard, shown in one picture taken from our north wall, near the Bocce court. The Jacuzzi outside is not currently being used but if you like we can see about starting it up again. We have a nice Connelly Ultimate pool table on the back porch, next to the shuffleboard table, and dart board, and two bbq grills. Lots of seating outside as well as a gas fire-pit, with bench seating for 20.
We are interested in longer term tenants, but will entertain shorter term guests also.
