Very clean stocked kitchen easy access. Quiet neighborhoodDrawbacks where it was a little bit beat up needs a little tiny bit of TLC and the driveway. It was difficult to manage extremely steep, and our Toyota van that we rented would not fit into the garage and you’re not allowed to park in the street so it made for a bit of a stressful parking situation.

Communication was great. The house needs a good amount of TLC - there was evidence of water damage, mildew in showers, carpets need cleaning, etc. We had to air the house out on arrival and remove the plug in from the master bedroom. The most difficult thing for us is that all of the sheets had very strong fragrance despite the free and clear laundry soap. We had to wash them all before we could sleep in them and they still smelled strongly. It really made our stay challenging as the smells overwhelmed everything.

I’ve never left lower than a stellar review, but we had some issues. We stayed over Christmas to visit family. First, the communication was good. The kitchen is well stocked and the view is amazing. We found the beds comfortable and the a/c worked well.The house could use some TLC. There are quite a few holes and chips in the walls and broken items throughout the house. I contacted the owner to make sure we wouldn’t be charged, and they seemed to know about the issues but had not fixed them.As others have mentioned, our car did not fit in the garage and the drive way is pretty steep, so if you need to unload a lot from there it’s hard.We also had some privacy issues.Our last morning there, an a/c worker was at the front door attempting to use the code and enter the home. I spoke with the owner on the phone who said she forgot there was anyone staying at the property. We had been texting on the app, and the car was in the driveway, so I’m not sure how that’s possible.Then, before check out time, I came out of the bathroom and there was a cleaning woman standing in the bedroom. They continued to clean and be in all the rooms while we were trying to pack up. I am sure they had a lot to do and it was right after Christmas, but this was very uncomfortable. I have never had an experience where people enter the home before checkout time and without knocking or announcing themselves. The house is fine, but it’s over priced for what you get.

The home met our needs perfectly. We travel to Tucson for my wife’s treatments for breast cancer. We need a comfortable, clean, convenient and quiet place to stay during those trips. This property provides all of the above. The view is an added bonus. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The house was roomy, everything was clean. Three things of concern: master bath sinks drain could not be plugged and unplugged, the shower water was either cold or very hot - no in between. The worst problem, and host had no control over this, was the driveway. It was short , steep and narrow. The garage is so small our cat could not fit in. We did contact the host about the sink problem but he didn’t take care out address the problem.

Clean and well-stocked, great neighborhood

Our group of four women enjoyed our stay. Excellent communication with the owner, kitchen was well stocked, and it was very clean. We enjoyed long walks in the neighborhood with stunning views of the mountains. Restaurants and stores are close by.

Perfect home for small children!

We have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years and this home was one of the best we have encountered. The home was just off the main road in a quiet, safe community and was easy to find. It was beautiful, spacious and clean and we were most pleased by how safe it was for toddlers as we brought 3 children under 4 years old. The house was all tile except for the bedrooms and had toddler safe decorations that were not breakable. The floors, tables and dining chairs were easy to clean surfaces and a mop, vacuum and broom were provided in the hall closet.Our host was very courteous and responded to our questions quickly. We also asked if a couple friends could visit and they had no problem with that. It was a stressfree stay and we were able to visit in a safe environment and catch up with friends and family in the area.

Furniture inside was very nice. Mattresses were horrific! Master bath-broken tiles, dirty grout but other bath was okay. Wall in the entrance to master bedroom on right corner of entry was carved -needs attention Kitchen was lovely but not enough cooking utensils, refrigerator was excellent! Patio furniture was very dirty and placement was not convenient Difficult parking options. We did enjoy our family and area!

Great location but some surprises

The house is in a great location and is generally in good condition. There were a few things that surprised us and not in a good way — the tiny garage (standard SUV wouldn’t fit), very steep driveway, hard memory foam mattresses on every bed (I slept on the couch), and uncontrollable water temperature in the showers. Overall we enjoyed Oro Valley but probably wouldn’t return to this property.

Clean and bright.

Easy entry with electronic lock. House was clean and ready. Kitchen had about everything you might need. Great location near shopping, restaurants and hiking. The Mountain View from the front is beautiful.

Work Trip

Hotels were crazy expensive that week, so my co-worker and I stayed at this house and each had our own bathroom for half the cost. It was very clean, quiet, and close to our meetings. The beds were EXTREMLY comfortable. The only problem was parking. The driveway is steep, so we parked in the garage, but there was no opener. We had to park on the street for a minute while entering the house to open the garage. But there is little traffic, so it worked. There weren't many dishes either, but we ate out every meal, so just needed coffee. That was provided - so it worked great for us!

The house was spacious and well cared for. The amenities are excellent. Great kitchen and family room. The rooms are all carpeted, and we'll appointed. We had use of the garage for parking, the outside patio was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again and again whenever we come to this area in the future. Thanks again for an excellent vacation location.

A truly excellent rental. Our stay consisted of 109 degree days. The house stayed nice and cool. Very friendly neighborhood. The home has all the amenities you’ll need. 10/10 cleanliness 10/10 communication 10/10 comfort We’ll definitely reserve this property in the future.

Nice size home in a great neighborhood

Very nice floor plan. Clean and comfy. My one suggestion wuld be to have a few more towels and washcloths for the bathrooms, and kitchen. Owners were very helpful and responded as soon as I messaged. It was a short stay but comfortable.
