"The house was beautiful. Very clean. Its an old home and really offered the comfortablè, family feel I was looking for. The mountain views along the main highway are amazing. I will say this; if you're into haunted houses this place definitely offers the spooky. We experienced several things that gave us the creeps, that to us, was very cool. Overall, the stay was 100%. "Location! Location! Location! A very welcoming and safe accommodations. As two women traveling, this was very important that we felt safe and comfortable. Having our bedroom windows opened allowed us to hear the sound of a nearby brook and owls thru the night. Mike, the host was amazing and went over and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I included a pic of a sunset taken from the porch. We plan to return. Thanks Mike!"

"My wife and I absolutely loved this yurt! We intended to spend a few days in the Brevard/Pisgah area and saw this available for a long weekend. It looked nice enough so we booked, and when we arrived it honestly exceeded our expectations. Very cozy, comfortable, clean, and the kitchen/bathroom was very well done. "The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend."
