"Clean room; friendly staff; breakfast was good with a lot of options"

"The hotel staff was incredibly kind and responsive. The property was pretty beat up including guest rooms and especially hallway and lobby furnishings. There were layers of stains on the chairs in the breakfast area. Again, the staff was great and worked hard to make our experience pleasant, including bringing us extra blankets in the evening and keeping the breakfast buffet stocked. The hotel ownership needs to invest in the property to go with the amazing people who work there."

"$162 for a room. The room was nice and clean with a full size refrigerator, burner to cook and cooking utensils. No pool except indoor, coffee was free but the creamer that was available was a big jug of syrup and food options were minimal and refrigerated. For the price I payed for one night I definitely expected better amenities"

"Bed was extremely unfortunate, curtain pull was off the rod and stuck in the cabinet, door was coming off the hinges. Topping is coming off the bricks under the canopy in the front. Booked for 2 days, after returning from appointments key cards wouldn't work. Went to the front desk which was left unattended, had to search for someone to re program them. Probably will pass on another stay at this location."

"On r we arrived and entered , from that point on it was not possible to lock the door. The sink drain had a serious drain problem. The coffee maker didn’t work. The overhead light and fan were both on one switch therefore could not be operated separately."

"Front desk staff were not very friendly. Breakfast was not good. Waffles were either just shells or still raw in middle. Milk was hot. Found bugs in room, front desk said Yeah, they come out after a rain and turned away. We had stayed here because we had such an enjoyable stay at the Salisbury Sleep Inn. Was very disappointed at Statesville by the front desk staff and breakfast. Will definitely stay in Salisbury from now on"

"Good water pressure"

"The lady who checked us in was very nice and took care of us nicely. The first room we went to had the door open. We went an got another room. The room and the hotel overall is just aged and worn down. There was a sign stating that another chain was taking over, I think Marriot, and that changes will be made. To me it seems that they are just not repairing anything until changes will be made. The room was dingy, Bathroom wasnt clean, and hallways were warm. Won't stay there again."
