"Nice location, nice room and comfy bed. One negative that we experienced was when we arrived we waited for a while before anyone came and when they did they simply gave us our key, told us our room and that was it. No warmth, not very friendly and was a bit of a shame. Left us both thinking it was a bit off. Other than that, the hotel was lovely. "

"For a consecutive month, I booked with a Greene King Inn to include an evening meal with the breakfast. The hotel is situated in the middle of a busy high street with great parking at the rear which is easily accessible. I was warmly welcomed and directed to my room which was nice and clean. It was warm and I asked for a fan which was supplied quickly. I went for a 1 hour speed walk and came across a village called Chawton which was a lovely part of the world to walk around. "We visited this hotel back in September 2024 everyone was so welcoming the hotel is beautiful with breathtaking grounds and views! We decided to come back as a memory and we were fortunate enough to stay in the exact same room as last time which was very sentimental to us!! The breakfast was delicious with such a huge choice of selection The staff are lovely as well as the owners who are very welcoming and friendly!! We hope to see you again soon thank you for a lovely stay! "

"I expect that no one from Expedia had visited this 'hotel' basically a pub with four rooms. They were tired, decoration poor, carpets grubby, toilet was noisy (Macerator) no breakfast options at all and very expensive, £95 per room!"

"The bedroom is clean, sheets and mattress are comfy. The bathroom was dirty, there were fake tan marks on the walls and shower curtain. There was black hairs on the bath when I arrived. The shower has been installed too low, to the point an average sized person would need to crouch down to wash their hair. The shower head was also broken and didnt hold the position. "

"Breakfast was ok but lacked fresh fruit, the property needs a refresh and fridges in the bedrooms (although one was supplied on request) No air con but that's normal for the UK. The room was clean and the sports bar was ok - spacious and quick service with pool tables and tvs to watch sport. Driving range and tennis courts were fun and there are outdoor spaces to sit and relax"

"We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "

"Nice modern stylish room, prompt email replies from staff regarding flexible check ins. Very comfy room. Good breakfast included. Only drawback was when the room next door had their tv on late at night it actually woke me up in my room! But not really much which could be done about that. Also milk missing from tea station in morning but assume that was a simple oversight. "
