"Nice kind of quaint older style hotel with a large guest relaxing lounge on the first floor BUT lots of steps up and down depending on your room location. Older potential guests should discuss this with the hotel before booking. Initially booked in a room with a couple of foul-mouthed noisy lads next door and door open. Made an early decision to ask for relocation which was arranged and ended up with a quiet room as we had lots of ground to cover the next day. Breakfast was good and all staff...

"This is a beautiful old house that has been made into a hotel. It looks and feels like it has a lot of history. It is a lovely tranquil place. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Wifi in the room and common areas. They do nice homemade pizza's, with a good selection of toppings. There is a small bar. The breakfast is self serve, nice food. The staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. I would stay here again when in the area. "
" Alovely lovely place to stay and we Will stay again ,loved that the floors are wonky but what do do expect just full of character loved it . A heads up my partner is 6ft the shower was a little on the small size .. the room was slightly smaller than we expected .
