"This was our 1st time staying at a VRBO and we had the best experience. We volunteered to fostering a neighbors dog and have 2 dogs of our own which now makes 3. We decided to take a quick trip not realizing most places only accepted 2 dogs. Before booking, we messaged the host (Meryl), let her know our situation and asked if it was possible to bring 3 dogs. "Enjoyed our time here and met our needs for a long weekend vacation. My kids lived in the pool the whole time and we had plenty of outdoor space to sit and watch. Everything (literally) was labeled inside which made it so easy to find or figure out stuff. We were also less than 10 from Bastrop so getting food from either a grocery store or delivered was a breeze. So glad we were able to book the space when we did. "

"The views of the lake were stunning. We had continuous views either from the pool, patio or living room (other rooms as well). The host was very gracious and accommodating, meeting all of the needs and more. We hope to stay here yearly when visiting my family. "

"We had a 4 day dance competition at Kalahari. It was nice to get away when we weren’t at competition. We could relax by the pool and use the hot tub to soothe our sore muscles. There was enough space for all the luggage and dance bags. We had plenty of room to sleep and stay apart from each other if needed. It took us less than 10 minutes to get to Kalahari. "

"the house was beautiful and very spacious plus it was secluded which made it feel so peaceful especially with all the trees around us. Swimming pool was perfect although very deep but we all enjoyed using it every day. I really loved it and would definately come back!"
