We did not have any information about how to get into the apartment we had rented for the night. We had to call 30 minutes before the check in time to ask how to get into the parking and how to get to the apartment. When we arrived and asked the concierge for help, they were very rude to us. We tried to show them the emails and instead were interrupting us, telling us we did things wrong. When we eventually got to the unit, the front door’s lock mechanism was not working. We were unable to lock the door from the inside or out. When we contacted the front desk, it took multiple attempts and at least an hour before we went to the front desk and asked for someone to come and look at the unit’s door. The front desk concierge, Rachel, came up to check the door (after an hour of calling, stating the door’s lock did not work) to “double check it did not lock”. We ended up booking a reservation at another hotel since no one came to assist us. When we went to the front desk to tell them they were leaving, they asked us why we did not call a locksmith. We definitely do NOT recommend this unit for spending the night and we think it should be removed from Expedia for booking. In addition to the front door not locking, the bathroom had a tarp as a roof and the furnace filter had not been changed in what seemed like months (the filter itself was black).
