The property was very clean and spacious. It was not very quiet. You can hear everyone walking around upstairs especially early morning if you were trying to sleep. You can hear coughing and the dog barking. At night there was no light on outside which made it feel quite uncomfortable when coming in at late hours. The fireplace displayed in the bedroom in the ad does not work and was told that on the day of check in. I tried using the electric fireplace in the living area and that did not work. I found the cement stairs leading into the apartment to become quite slippery when wet. The property was for 2 people but unfortunately one of the persons had an emergency was not able to travel into Canada. We had contacted the host several times to see if they can adjust our stay and requested a partial refunding due to the emergency and we had leave early The host was not accommodating. The property was booked from Dec 29-Jan 7. We had leave Dec 31. We paid for the additional days and were not using the property and want a partial refund for this.
