My credit card was charged despite prepaying. In reviewing the folio emailed to me after checkout, they charged taxes which were already paid and documented as such on my initial booking receipt. There were no incidentals charged to the room, just a billing error on their part. When I contacted the property to resolve the overpayment/double charge, I was told they had a new system and the issue would need to be escalated to the manager. There has been no contact from manager Kay to resolve the issue as promised by site staff. Mistakes happen but how you handle them is the important thing. The hotel was conveniently located. The room had a nice setup for work/relaxation that fit our needs. We thought that we had found a new home base as we frequently travel to the area but now I don't trust them. They definitely dropped the ball.
