"Wonderfully family friendly property for kids of all ages. There's a playground, a little field with goal nets, a pickleball court, and other games and activities to keep the kids entertained when you're not at the beach. There's also a hottub and a fire pit, to help the adults relax after a long day of watching the children. If you have any problems, the staff is very responsive and helpful. I would consider myself lucky to get to stay here again in the future! "

"I don't normally write reviews, but this house (and hosts) deserve all 5 stars! The house was perfect for our weekend fishing trip and was more than enough space for the four of us. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed and more. The hosts were very communicative, too. Overall, this was fantastic!"

"Direct quote from the surly, feral teen, “This place took away all my problems; I don’t want to leave.” They didn’t even complain about lack of wifi, but if someone was trying to use it for say a writer’s weekend, or needing to bring work on their stay, that might be the only thing to complain about. Great place! "

"The property is located in the southern part of Ocean Shores and is very close to the Oyhut Village which provides easy access to a small market, restaurant and wine bar. We enjoyed the back deck overlooking the canal and the spacious living area. The kitchen was very well equipped with modern appliances. Pots/pans and other cooking items were a bit low quality. Our biggest complaint were the mattresses which were very thin and of very low quality. The neighborhood is very quiet although there...

"The house was AMAZING. The downstairs looked like it had been professionally interior decorated. The host was our neighbor and came to greet when we arrived. The location was perfect for us. And had lots of things included for their guests, comfortable beds, lots of books, games and lots stuff for us to use. The only problem was our truck was too big for the garage and the parking space was filled by our truck so not anybody’s fault but our own"

"Our stay was very pleasant. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was also just a short drive from our kids house. The beds were cozy, the only recommendation we have is a headboard for the master bedroom because your hands and pillows hit the blinds a lot while sleeping. Also, a little attention to the table chairs and stools, missing bolts and wobbly. Thank you for the peaceful retreat. Worth the price! "

"We had a great stay at the Happy as a clam cottages. The cottage was very nice and clean. Being able to eat a few meals in using the full kitchen, BBQ was a plus. The location was perfect for our interests (it is very close to 2 very fine oyster farms/restaurants, several state parks, and a short drive to both the bay and oceanside of the peninsula. We would highly recommend."
