**On-Site Caretaker Suite – Tofino Bylaw: Please note that, in accordance with Tofino Bylaws for licensed vacation rentals, a long-term tenant resides on the property in a separate caretaker suite. This requirement helps support the local community by ensuring that long-term housing remains available for people who live and work in Tofino. Guests have full and private access to the entire vacation rental they have booked. The only shared area is the driveway/parking area. The caretaker has their own separate living space, so guests can still enjoy the privacy and comfort of the vacation rental throughout their stay.

Take a stroll along the 4-kilometre stretch of pristine beach, and then unwind in the hot tub or private cedar barrel sauna.



Location: Located directly on South Chesterman Beach, step off your beachside deck onto the infamous Chesterman Beach to enjoy long walks, beach combing, biking, and soaking up the sun! While the beach is the destination, it's a short 10 minute drive to downtown Tofino and all your local favourites.



Kitchen & Dining: This recently updated kitchen offers everything you need to cook, gather, and enjoy meals together. It features a large kitchen island, spacious fridge, cooktop, built-in oven and microwave, dishwasher, plenty of cabinet space, and is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, and kitchen essentials. Just off the kitchen, a custom-made wood dining table(seating for 6) sits in front of an expansive window, creating the perfect gathering place to enjoy meals while taking in beautiful views of Chesterman Beach.



Living Room: The open-concept living room is designed for relaxing and taking in the beauty of Chesterman Beach. The space features two comfortable couches, a TV, and a cozy gas fireplace, along with two large wooden chairs perfectly positioned to enjoy the ocean views. A checkerboard table adds a fun touch and a perfect spot to unwind after a day at the beach.



Bedrooms: Ocean's Edge comfortably accommodates 6 guests across 3 bedrooms:

Primary Bedroom: King bed with Smart TV and peekaboo ocean views from a small balcony. The spacious ensuite bathroom offers a relaxing retreat with a large soaker tub, steam shower, double sinks, and a private toilet area.

Second Bedroom: King bed with Smart TV and a small patio.

Third Bedroom: King bed with Smart TV



Bathrooms: This home has two bathrooms. The primary ensuite, located off the master bedroom that offers a relaxing retreat with a large soaker tub, steam shower, double sinks, and a private toilet area. The second bathroom is located down the hall, close to the second and third bedrooms, and includes both a walk-in shower and a bathtub/shower combination, making it ideal for families or larger groups.



Laundry room: The home also features a dedicated laundry room with a washer and dryer available for guest use, making it especially convenient for longer stays or after a day of exploring the coast.



Outdoor Space: Relax on the spacious back deck overlooking South Chesterman Beach, complete with brand-new bar seating and unforgettable ocean views. Unwind in the beachside barrel sauna, soak in the private hot tub after a day of exploring, or rinse off in the outdoor shower—perfect for a refreshing cool-down after the sauna or a warm rinse after a day of surfing.

IMPORTANT Things to Know/Host Rules (This avoids complaints)

• No parties or events (no weddings, ceremonies or large dinner gatherings)

• Amenities listed are those provided with the property.

• Only 3 parking spots provided

• If you require specific items, please ask before booking and we will do our best to assist.

• Renter's Agreement: All guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation.

• Age Requirement: The primary guest making the reservation must be at least 27 years of age.

• Maximum Occupancy: In accordance with Tofino Bylaws, a maximum of six (6) guests is permitted, including infants and children. If the number of guests exceeds this limit, we reserve the right to terminate the reservation and require guests to leave the property without refund.

• Minimum Stay Requirements: During peak summer season (July-August), a minimum stay of 5 nights is required (unless it fills a gap)

• All summer bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps between reservations. During the summer season, reservation changes that create a one-night gap between bookings cannot be accommodated, as we do not accept one-night stays.

• A minimum stay of three (3) nights is also required for all Canadian Statutory Holiday periods.

• DOG Policy: Up to 2 dogs allowed only. All dogs must be approved AND PAID FOR prior to arrival. Guests who arrive with unregistered dogs or exceed the approved pet limit may be required to check out immediately. Dogs may not be left unattended in the property unless they are securely crated. Sorry no cats allowed.

• Quiet Hours: Strict quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of our neighbours and the local community.

• VRBO Beachfront Cancellation: We offer a 30-day cancellation policy. Guests who cancel at least 30 days prior to their arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable.

• Accidental Damage Protection: A $10/day fee is already included in your reservation and covers accidental damages up to $1,000. This does not cover damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, negligence, misuse, or violations of house rules.
