"The room was very comfortable and clean. And the staff very helpful. We were travelling and had to get up early so missed out on the breakfast. We did not take advantage of the spa facilities so cant comment on this. If we are in the area again we would stay here again. The only down side is there is not a restaurant onsite, we were given a list of places which was very helpful, the pub we chose was only 6 mins down the road in the car and was very welcoming and the food good."

"Lovely historic hotel, very pleasant and helpful staff, good food and bar, easy parking. All great. Only suggestion for improvement was brighter bedside lights for reading. But loved our stay!"

"Lovely, spacious airy room, with a quaint style, a huge copper freestanding bath is in the room, room for two, such a delight! There is a rainfall separate shower in the bathroom too, handy for both of us getting ready at the same time. Large sea kelp toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash ,bubble bath etc. Generous selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate & complimentary watercomplimentary eco- friendly. Free car parking at the rear. Hairdryer & a magified mirror with light ring to do...

"The room was very clean. The building itself is very old but is kept in a very clean condition. The staff were friendly, attentive nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really good as there was so many gluten free options to choose from and it was cooked to perfection. Parking was at the back of the hotel and felt safe at all times. This is an Ideal location for visiting the town with so much choice of places to eat. "
