The Space:

The spectacular landscape of the Northern Oregon Coast awaits when you stay at this beautiful hand-crafted Oceanside vacation rental. With a superb location just a quarter-mile from the beach and breathtaking views of the coast from not one but two south-facing decks, this homey cabin infuses your vacation with a unique touch of the Pacific Northwest.



Tucked away in the quiet village of Oceanside, this home is perfect for anyone hoping to escape the crowds of Oregon's more popular coastal towns. Stroll down the hill to the broad, sandy beach, where you can explore tide pools, go kitesurfing, or marvel at the rugged terrain. For a change of pace, hike up to the lighthouse at Cape Meares, or head into nearby Tillamook for a tour of its world-famous Cheese Factory. (We recommend picking up some groceries while you're there - Oceanside only has a couple of restaurants and no markets.)



The house is built entirely from wood and boasts an unobstructed 15-mile view of the water and shoreline, along with two spacious decks for admiring the scenery. Inside, you'll find two separate sections: a main suite with two bedrooms and a loft, and a smaller studio with a private entrance. There's no TV, but you'll find plenty of books, speakers for your music, and free WiFi for checking your social media and chatting with friends back home. Both the main house and the studio also include their own kitchens with a stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, plus private access to their own deck.

The view from every room was amazing. Being on a hillside made it feel like we were in a treehouse! We saw 30 shooting stars from the deck, gorgeous sunsets and soothing wave sounds the whole time. The cabin is perfect!

We loved the layout and would definitely stay again. The place has a lot of character. With its quarky floor plan. I loved the lack of tv, would love another lamp option in the main living area. (I like to draw so being well lit during sundown hours is nice.) I also know that Keeping up care on that much wood is a lot of work. That said the floor could use a good restain to ensure continued longevity!Beds blankets and extra blankets were so warm and soft.All in all a great place to stay for some time at the beach.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary getaway. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed having large windows to take it all in. However, be mindful that there are no window coverings. The distance to the cafes and beach was perfect. We walked down the hill each day to enjoy the charming community and stunning beach. We appreciated that there were camping chairs and beach towels offered. It was a cozy space and a memorable trip.

Absolutely love this home. The views are incredible and the home is so unique and charming. It was such a treat to wake up to these views each morning and walk down to the beach whenever we felt like it. The home is overdue for a deep clean, but it was satisfactory in terms of the typical turnaround clean.

The property location was great..the property itself needs some updating and overall could use a make over on the decor. However the location was very convenient and the views were wonderful. The one thing that was a let down was the cleanliness of the place. We found hairs on a cutting board and we couldn't find plates, we then discovered that the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes! The smell was terrible when we open the dishwasher door, we had to buy paper plates. Even if they were clean, it would have been nice if we didn't have to grab them from the dishwasher. Other than that our stay was fine. The beds were comfortable but the couch not so much. One other little detail is that the door code they send you is so long it's kind of an inconvenience. Also there is no tv if you care for that. We will probably stay somewhere else next time.

Tranquil get away!

Oceanside is a beautiful place! This house worked out perfectly because it had a studio like apartment in the basement for my son and his wife and then the main house had a loft and two other bedrooms, bath and laundry. There is no TV, but the views are so incredible, I didn’t mind. We were able to watch the blood moon eclipse from the two decks that overlook the ocean. There was a small repair that needed to be done, but it could have waited till after we left. I let management know and they immediately came over and fixed it. This house has a lot of beach charm and if you’re looking for an affordable space, it is a wonderful option!

No central heating thermostat “not working”, no blinds on downstairs bedroom window, no hair dryer, no stove, only microwave convection unit. Made Papa Murphy’s pizza unfit to eat. No instructions on how to use microwave convection unit. View was great.

Definitely would return!

Beautiful wooden house with 2 levels. Awesome view of the Pacific. We visited Depoe Bay one day and Cannon Beach another. Just outside of Tillamook. Some stairs to navigate. Can be slippery when wet. Nice laundry and bathroom facilities. Two functional kitchens. Loved it!

Absolutely gorgeous view

We've been staying at this house for over 30 years and still love it. However, it could use a little sprucing up. It needs a new double mattress and a working microwave in the downstairs unit. And also for both units, bath towels that actually absorb water and instructions to the convection oven. Also better dish soap and a pot scrubber would be great. The overall cleanliness could be improved as well. But we will absolutely stay here again.

We have stayed in the property 3or4 times. The property needs a lot of work done. The deck and porch have rotting boards . The oven and dishwasher aren't properly installed and the kitchen cabinets need To be refinished. We use to like to stay there but would have to look at other options.

Very cute but old

Very cute and the view is to die for. The place was not clean at all; we found mice poop and dust everywhere. The place also needs a lot of renovating: things didn’t work, were leaking etc. We did love the coziness of the place.

The cabin was perfect! So beautiful and had a wonderful view. Make sure to bring some games because they really only had puzzles available! I just wish there was more food in the area. There are 2 restaurants and both of them are only okay.
