Oceanside Vista - Oregon Beach Vacations

Oceanside Vista sits on a hill above the quaint little town of Oceanside. With breathtaking views, this is the perfect home to come relax and unwind in with stunning views and a peaceful yard. This two-level home is located in a private neighborhood and has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and can accommodate up to six people. There are just a few steps into the home, and as you enter on the main level, you'll find the great room, which includes the kitchen, dining, and living room area, a primary bedroom with a king bed, a guest room with a queen bed, and a full bathroom. The spacious deck at Oceanside Vista will allow you to truly appreciate the beauty of the Oregon coast. There is also a propane BBQ at this vacation rental for you to grill up some nice steaks or seafood. A private room for kids with a twin-full bunk bed is also located down here. There is a neighborhood beach access trail about a 15-minute walk away, or you can drive three minutes to the public beach access at the north end of Oceanside. This vacation home offers cable TV, a DVD player, and Wi-Fi for those wishing to stay connected to the outside world. You can venture out and see the Cape Kiwanda Lighthouse, and don't forget to check out the Octopus tree while you're there. You are also a short ten-minute drive from Tillamook if you need to run to town for anything or wish to visit the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Come explore Oceanside with your loved ones today!

Awesome but expensive.

I asked if the property could do a discount in advance, they said no, then they offered me extra time at the location when I was there for a discounted rate. If they would have offered the discount when I asked in advance I would’ve booked more time knowing about the better deal and still having time to make more plans

There are not 4 bedrooms at this property. Please do not take multiple pictures of the same bedroom with different bedspreads. My Floridian friend had to sleep on the couch. 9.5/10 views. Good location. False advertising on the # of bedroom. 5/10

Breathe Taking Views

This property has absolutely amazing views. We found everything that we needed in the kitchen. And it was extremely clean. Things to note are the beds are not comfortable and need to be replaced. Also at the house, you have no cell service, so make sure that you have downloaded all the information that you need to access the property before leaving Tillamook.

3 days in Oceanside

Overall, the property matched the description and was a comfortable place for our family. There were a couple of minor items that we needed to communicate to the property owner/manager, primarily due to the property simply being older. I hope they replaced the blender, which didn't work when we arrived. The telescope in the property provided great star/moon gazing and a great view of the wildlife in the rocks just off shore. The night sky/starry views from the deck are incredible! The kitchen is great! Would stay there again.

Perfect view and great for family

This place had an amazing view and was perfect for my small family vacation. Was not that far from the beach... Grandma and the children even found a path in the neighborhood that led down to the main part of town and a short walk to the beach front area. My favorite part of the whole house was the very open kitchen.. perfect for cooking together as a family.

Beautiful views

The spaces and views in this home were outstanding! Perfect for our our multi generation family. The kitchen is poorly equipped. We had to carry the microwave to a living room outlet to use it. There was no food processor and the blender did not work which meant a dish I brought was difficult to prepare. There was no cake or cassarole pan of any kind so our plan for baked oatmeal could not happen. No full sized spatula (bowl scraper) citrus juicer, measuring spoons and only a half sized cookie sheet we used to bake bacon on and broil halibut. Cooking for our group of 6 adults was challenging. We managed, but in all the home rentals we have stayed in this was the most difficult kitchen to work in. We did not call management because it was Saturday when our family arrived and we started encountering all the difficulty.

Beautiful Ocean view

Most everything was good. A Few things could have been better. The beds were very uncomfortable not quality mattresses. The dishwasher makes a loud noise like something is wrong with it. The refrigerator does not close easily looks like it needs a new seal. Good location , beautiful view, plenty of towels. Good hot water and heater.

Week with family

We very much enjoyed our time with family at the home. The neighborhood is quiet and the view of the ocean was beautiful from afar. Wifi access was great. The property was not as clean as we would have expected. Coffee pot was not clean-still had coffee in it. There was a used glass sitting on a shelf in the downstairs area. Would have been nice to have a little more furniture in the living area upstairs. Perhaps enough to accommodate the number of adults the property is advertised to stay. Pads on the dining chairs would be wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us.

Beautiful views.

We had a blast. The views were awesome. We love to collect agates and walk the beach…. However, the carpet under the kitchen table was obviously not vacuumed. Crumbs and hair. The rest of the house was not bad. The king bed is very creaky and wobbly so that the frame/mattress moves whenever your spouse moves. We’ve never slept on such a huge yet wobbly/creaky bed. The kitchen supplies are hodgepodge and for the price I expected a bit more up to date. However, we loved our time together and LOVED being out on the deck at sunset or just reading during the day. It’s a tossup whether we’d stay here again as was not smitten with the house supplies, furniture for the price but loved the view and the space. Thanks for lending us your home.

The location is great, the view is stunning. But this house is just okay. - They don’t supply you enough trash bags, dishwasher detergent and other basic household items for your visit. We had to purchase that stuff. - There is not enough comfortable seating for socializing in the house. Just one couch that seats three and a dining set. - The futon downstairs is very uncomfortable for two adults. - We could not use the TV. We rented a DVD for the kids on a rainy afternoon and couldn’t get the DVD player connected, despite spending about 30 minutes working on it. They appear not to have any streaming services. Overall, we were not impressed with this vacation rental. We would not come back.

Roomy house with beautiful deck to view the Ocean.

The house is laid out nicely with some updates. The beds are nothing extraordinary. Fridge doesn't stay closed so watch your food. We were able to find most everything we needed in the kitchens and bathroom. They had a telescope set up which was fun to use. They also left a book with fun ideas to do during our trip.

Good Property

All in all this was a great place to rent and the nearby beach was perfect for my grandkids. The kitchen could have been stocked a little bit more. I bought a pyrex baking dish so I could make a cake and there was no can opener. The sheet pans and baking pans were either very rusted or they had not been cleaned, so I purchased some disposable pans. The views were amazing and the sunsets over the ocean were gorgeous! We would rent this home again. Thank you!

Overall a great spot. Quiet neighborhood and great views. House was clean and had everything we needed. Love coming to the area for a disconnect. Cell reception is minimal to none which is perfect. House had WiFi so if you want to connect you can.

Good, but the pictures are inaccurate

Pros: The house was nice. Really good view and enough room for our party. The check-in/check-out experience was simple and the location is fantastic. Cons: The furniture in the pictures is definitely NOT what is there. The huge sectional couch downstairs was replaced with a small futon. All propane tanks for the grill were completely empty. The wood stove flu and chimney were clogged and unusable. The trash outside was completely full and there was only one trash can liner left on the inside. All in all, it was a good stay and we wouldnt mind this place again IF the amenities were better taken care of. Please update the pictures for this listing!!!

Great if you have low standards

When we arrived the keypad wouldn't work. We had to drive around until we had cell reception to call the managers. Fortunately it wasn't pouring rain. When we entered we were hit with the smell. When we saw the condition of the rental we immediately drove to Netarts and bought Clorox wipes to wipe down every counter surface. We washed and sanitized all dishes and silverware we thought we'd be using and left them in the dishwasher to stay clean. The carpet is cheap, worn and stained For watching TV, there's a filthy cheap futon to sit on. After seeing that we completely avoided the downstairs. What look like paw prints are on the sliding glass door with the broken lock. Heater in master bedroom is not working. The washing machine would only fill with 2 or 3 inches of water. There are lights that don't work. Lamp in master bedroom is falling apart. Cheapest of cheap fixtures, furniture, beds, appliances and towels. This stuff looked like it was purchased from Goodwill. Dingy and old refrigerator Dirty windows and most of them were unlocked. TV console looks like it hasn't been dusted in ages. Enough laundry and dishwasher soap for only 4 loads Drawers and cupboards have no liners and are stained. Kitchen floor was half swept and sticky next to microwave. Living room only has a 3 person sofa to sit on. The TV room has a filthy futon and 2 cheap chairs. We found a card that said it had been inspected after cleaning and we laughed. "Inspected for what, dirty film on the windows!" This place is not worth what we paid for 2 nights. And, it takes a lot of gall to charge for a cleaning fee when the job is done half-assed. We have used Homeaway several times and have had amazing places to stay that cost less. This was the only one that has ever disappointed us. We will never rent anything that Ocean Beach Vacations manages again. If you're not a frequent traveler, have a large group with kids or have low standards, then you won't mind this place. I'm giving it 2 stars because it was quiet and the wifi worked okay in the living room. We stayed away from this place as much as we could. It didn't ruin our vacation but we did not enjoy the 2 nights we spent here. .
