"Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby.
The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower.
Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. You had to drive under 5 mph to try to retain the floor of your car. The second was...

Poor carpet dirty thick marks badley frade at inner door, flickering bed lights,
Bathroom door not shutting, Bathroom wall paper miss coloured patchy ,Toilet loose on wall, Basson waist pipe cross threaded, Bath area two chains on plug and not connected, tiles not grouted, 4 tiles slack agents wall.
No alcohol licence so could not have a drink.
Male receptionist hard to understand.
High risk of electrical fire or being hit by loose tiles."

"Have stayed here a few times. Staff are always courteous, helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. My only gripe would be that the shower unit could do with a shower mat to prevent slipping and falling and that the shower temperature was not quite hot enough even when turned up to full. Nevertheless overall it was a pleasant overnight stay and I will continue to book here in the future when visiting Sheffield. "

"Road to the place was verg bad. 6inch deep potholes. Pulled into very muddy car park. Was shown to the room which was via a dangerous very badly lit outside staircase. I fell over in the dark via a very bad step, injuring my arm. Ws wers so dissapointed that we left early without breakfast.
The room itself, although old fashioned, was acceptable and comfortable. Hiwevef, we cannot comment about breakfast as ws did not stay.
Very disappointing experience overall."

"Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet."

"Lovely hotel, with lovely clean, well appointed rooms. We stayed on a Saturday when the football was on next door, but other than the lobby being busier you wouldn’t have known. Lad at reception was friendly and the Hilton chocolate chip cookie was a nice touch. Only thing to consider would be perhaps providing the option for a firmer pillow, but appreciate this is entirely personal preference. "

"Host very helpful, room spotless with an unexpected surprise of a lovely view and private patio area..very handy if you vape or smoke. Guest kitchen area/breakfast room fully stocked with with various breakfast items ranging from eggs to bread, fresh pots of fruit, cerial, pastries and even fresh coffee if thats what you desire. I would definitely recommend this B&B."
