"Annual multi-generation family vacation!What a gem! This home worked great for our family of 8 adults and 4 kids (age 2-5). We had plenty of room to spread out. The back pool area and deck were the highlight of our stay, but we also enjoyed the front porch & swing! We had everything we needed to go to the beach and to hang out at home. The location was nice, a bit away from town but not too far! We also rented the golf cart which worked great for quick trips to Oink’s for ice cream, grocery runs...

"Was a comfy cozy spot to sit, relax, and just talk. The pull out couch was very comfortable. The most comfortable i have ever slept on. The fireplace was beautiful and functional. It gave off heat or just soft light. We drove to the outlet mall and 2 farmers markets. We had an amazing mother daughters weekend and will definitely come back again."

"Gorgeous property, beautiful lake, so much for all ages to enjoy!! We spent the week there with our family ages 3-76 and everyone had a fabulous time. The house was perfect for our 27 family members. The host provided everything we needed from fully stocked kitchen to dish soap, plenty of towels and wash cloths, toilet paper, trash bags, kayaks…the amenities were fabulous. We took a boat which was so much fun to tube and ski. Even the neighbors were nice! We had an absolutely wonderful 5...

"The location was PERFECT. Just a 5 minute walk down a sandy path to a beautiful beach and Lake Michigan! The tiny cottage was perfect for two people. The bed however is very very hard. If you’re young you’d be okay, but us older folks don’t do well on firm beds lolOther than that our weekend stay was perfect!"

"We had a great stay at the Funky Turtle. The house was clean and just enough space for my family of 5. The house is close to campground bathrooms if the occasional extra bathroom is needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, use of the grill, and sitting on the porch. Our only complaint is about the noise but it was clear from the map that the campground was located near an interstate. While sitting outside you can hear the noise from the interstate and close by trains. However, inside was much...

"Quiet, well stocked with basics for cooking, relaxation. We had some trouble getting streaming to stay engaged to internet, but only meant that we watched less TV, which worked for us. We would rent with you and this place specifically again."

The home is comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything you need whether beach chairs, toys, towels or board games later on.
