"The hotel is a seventeenth century building and has a stylish interior. The staff are very helpful and make you feel welcome at the hotel. This is a four star hotel. The room I was in was comfortable and with a very clean bathroom. Food is served most of the day seven days a week and it is very appetising and portions of food are generous. The menus are diverse there is something for every taste. This hotel is close to all the shops, and transport hubs. "

"I booked on behalf of one of our engineers, who found the cabin to be very dirty with little to no hot water, and infestation of insects and no WIFI as mentioned in the accommodation list. The front door also would not close or lock due to the door being so badly warped, and I had to book alternative accommodation as it was not suitable. "No one in shop or office to report issues to, I txt the owner on Friday morning & they didn’t even open it until after we left on Saturday morning. No bathroom lights working, no outside light by hot tub and no covering over it to protect from weather/trees, so it was not used. No heating for night time so the hut was really cold, it was a good job I took extra bedding. "

"The cabin is situated in the most beautiful and peaceful area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the cabin really let it down. We bought a full shop on the way to check in, but we couldn’t use the oven as all the numbers had worn off around the dials. A lot of food and money wasted, which is frustrating as we booked this cabin over an alternative due to the kitchen. The crockery/cutlery/cookware were dirty. "We had room 6, bejou and spotless. Just 3 little gripes in the bathroom. 1) There is no blind on the window. 2) Mirror over basin is stomach height, husband had to bend double to shave. 3) No shelf for toiletries. Otherwise the hotel is great. The food is FABULOUS. Biggest lamb shank i'd ever had. Breakfast bacon is a must and perfect fried eggs. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely stay here again"

"A historic building just off the square, this beautiful B & B never fails. The owner, Ruth, goes out of her way to make sure that you have a comfortable stay, bathed in luxury and quality. places like this are few and far between these days. Superb!"

"Second time staying there, lovely old place. Bar well stocked, dinner and breakfast excellent. Given single room at top of hotel - stonking hot but supplied with fan which helped. Bathtub comfortable but needs a grab rail on the wall for those of us less abled to help us climb out. Otherwise can’t fault it!"
