"It was a pity that the property that was described as at Welshpool. it was not and there was no bus service. The cost of a taxi was prohibitive. The Hotel in Welshpool refused my debit card by processing it incorrectly. I spent the night in a shed of an abandoned house. Enjoyed the breakfast at the Greggs in Welshpool the next morning."

"Clean room comfortable bed. Tea coffee and biscuits provided and bottled water by bedside. Didn’t eat at hotel as out and didn’t book Breakfast as only staying one night. Pleasantly surprised and can see hotel has been refurbished. Would stay again if needed room in that area. "I have to say that the staff were super friendly and very welcoming, not only the bar staff but also the breakfast chef and even the cleaner! The inn was situated in a nice out of town area surrounded by fields. There is a business nextdoor but there was no overnight noise from it. The food and the beer were amazing too. No bathroom lights working, no outside light by hot tub and no covering over it to protect from weather/trees, so it was not used. "Very clean, high quality, lovely home with fresh flowers and friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful country garden to back and expansive views from lounge and one bedroom. Easy parking on site. Large steps to reach first storey difficult for parents in mid/late 80s but metal rails both sides helped. Highly recommend"
