"We loved spending a family weekend vacation at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and professional, and the nearby restaurants were excellent. The pool and hot tub were great as well. The hotel is located right on Lake Erie, and we really enjoyed fishing there. We saw many large fish, caught quite a few smaller ones, and watched the sunset over the lake, which made for a fun and memorable experience. Highly recommended!"

"Desk clerk was very helpful and pleasant. Parking in front of rooms. Clean room. We have stayed there in the past 3 years. Very close to Presque Isle beaches."

"There was no type of breakfast as stated including no coffee. Pillows were completely flat with hardly any stuffing. Asked for 3 more and kindly brought 3 decent ones. Room had carpet and not laminate flooring as stated. AC was not needed it was a cooler day. Shower was decent but only half dollar size soap discs . "

"Everything needed a very good cleaning. The floors seemed sticky…. Attention to detail would make a big difference. The recliner chair was broken when I arrived and although I was booked to stay for a week and called about the matter twice, it was never addressed. Staff was excellent though, did their personal best, and worked very hard. Laundry facilities were top notch. Parking was easy and free. "

"The pictures on Expedia were misleading and did not accurately reflect the condition of the property. At the time of booking, there was no indication that the pool was out of service or that the gym was closed. These are important amenities, and both the hotel and Expedia should ensure that such information is clearly disclosed before guests make a reservation. "Check in was quick and easy! The room was spacious and clean. The beds were more comfortable than most hotels. Breakfast was good. I will stay here again on future visits."

"I don't like the owner--Scott--he will rip you off every chance he gets. We bought 2 chardonnays in the Hilton connected bar area and was charged $12 each and this was basic wine that costs $8 a bottle at the store. Otherwise, the staff was good. The hotel is in need of repair, and they are working on that. The room price was reasonable."
