"The place was nice, but had a few issues with the shower and water temperature. The maintenance man came and was lovely. The carpets were stained, and the bathtub was chipped. We put a blanket down to sit on the couch."

"Our second time staying here. Great quiet location. The staff was friendly and helpful. They quickly worked through a room assignment issue at check-in when I pressed to find a quick solution. Shuttle to the beach is super quick and easy to use without any wait times. The rooms themselves are starting to show their age. Could benefit from a refresh in furniture (some stains and clearly well used) and scent (quite musty) to help justify the price of the suite. Overall 7.5/10"

"There is not a better place to stay north of Myrtle Beach. Very Quiet and secluded with amazing beach access. Lots of activities for the kids and the hotel staff was outstanding!"

"Excellent property the only issues we had was with the shower in the primary bathroom not draining properly and the ceiling fan in the primary bedroom not functioning properly. We didn’t stay long so it wasn’t a huge issue as the ac was adequate and the shower was the worse the last day of our stay."

"Dave yourself the headache. Every day it was something. Maintenance was good though. Oven not working. Batteries died in key pad for door. Deadbolt broke and we were stuck in condo for 5 hours. Advertised outdoor pool was open . It was NOT and after days of arguing with management and Hostiva, they finally acknowledge it was closed. Phoned Hostiva almost every day and they said they would phone back. They never did. The last day took the cake; cockroach crawling on the wall. That was the icing...

"When we arrived it was before check in. The front desk staff Shamira and Shanetta allowed us to keep our bags in a secure area so we could enjoy the pool area and lounge while we waited. They also ensured our room was ocean facing per the reservation details and helped us navigate sight seeing. All the other staff were very accommodating and kind greeting us everyday and promptly fulfilling any requests we had. The resort is renovating so some of the amenities were dated and needed repair...

"To start off we loved this resort for our family! The room we stayed in was beautiful and updated, and even had a washer and dryer. The outdoor pool with the bar and live music was amazing! We were able to sit on our room balcony and enjoy the view and band every night. The free waterpark passes and hotdog or hamburgers lunch was amazing! The only critique I would give was the floors had crumbs everywhere when we arrived."

"The room I booked was not how it was presented I had to move rooms because of smell the resorts was so understanding and helpful and all around so awesome my second room was amazing and just wanted I wanted the rest of my stay was 10/10 make sure you look at your room before you accept and the rooms at the main are better I’ll be booking there the next time I visit great for families and you could do a nice solo trip as well"
