"My husband and I had a delightful stay at this charming bed and breakfast on Saturday night. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped . Perfectly located to explore tenterden on foot. In the morning, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast served in a quaint little courtyard besides the beautiful Japanese garden which added to the serene ambiance . "We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable.
The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...
"Historic hotel in a lovely market town. Very clean, reasonably priced, excellent breakfast. Dinner was tasty but perhaps the portion was a bit stingy. Miles is an excellent waiter and all round go-to person. Very personable. "

NO air conditioning and rooms exposed to the sunny side are very warm. Fans provided but inadequate to cool the room. Would still visit again."
