"Staff was very nice and the location/view was great. Only critique is the property is very tired looking and the lift was broken, which I can understand but it looked like it had been for some time."

"The room was the best we had on our trip. It had shampoo, conditioner, soap in both the sink area and the shower. There was cold water and milk in the refrigerator and coffee/ tea. There was also a heated towel rack and great big towels. They also provided a shower cap. It was large enough that you could both move around the room. Highly recommend"

"Great B&B . Everything we needed for an overnight stay in Oban before heading to the ferry to Mull .Very convenient and good fitness waking up the hill to the property . Taxi if not inclined to walk up hills . Really nice touch to have the breakfast cereals , juice and yogurt . Thank you ."

"We are now back at home after our trip. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the Whisky Vaults but the most positive thing was that the bed was comfortable. 1. Staying for 2 days but the room was not serviced. 2. Breakfast, in a brown bag appeared on the first day only. 3. Thanks to Connor, who took an item of luggage upstairs. There was no lift and the back stairs were a challenge to my wife who is waiting for an ankle operation. 4. I would not be in a hurry to recommend the Whisky...

We were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation, plus some great recommendations about our travel in the area. "The hotel is functional, a bit dated looking from the outside, better inside but the shower in our room was not fit for purpose. Decent food but the menu is very limited. Parking is virtually non existent but the street parking is free after 6pm until 9am."

"O hotel é bom, central, mas a decepção ficou por conta de constar no site do hoteis.com que tem estacionamento (essencial para quem vai de carro e se hospeda num hotel central). Pois bem, o hotel tem mais de 80 apartamentos e somente umas 12 vagas de estacionamento. Chegamos lá e já estava lotado. Aí só estacionando na rua (que seria um problema no Brasil pela segurança, mas lá não). O problema é que na rua tem que pagar e limite de no máximo 2 horas e na noite, só até as 9 da manhã. "It’s a 100 year old property so expect to walk up stairs, it’s expected and they have done some renovations. The property smells moldy, the bed is horrible, super cheap pillows-they covered the bed in a plastic sheet which made you sweat all night and couldn’t keep windows open because of traffic. The WiFi is ridiculous and the fellow tried to convince us everyone uses an Ethernet cable versus wireless-so out of touch for phones/tablets and the room and bathroom were dusty and dirty in every...
