"My fiancé and I book with VRBO primarily, due to their “host-free stay” policy. We thought this was a private studio apartment, but it is not. It is an upstairs loft in the host’s home. The host was present in the house attached to this property when we arrived. When we entered the property, we were met with the sound of blaring TV noise coming from the host, and were immediately uncomfortable with the fact that there was another individual staying here, so we decided to leave. "The apartment was lovely and super clean. The owner had included many nice touches like yoga mats, some hand weights, a few snacks and products in bathroom. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the pull out couch which was not very comfortable for my 18 yr old son. I think it would be fine for young kids. Of course pull out couches are not made to be super comfy so not a big deal. The location was very convenient to downtown and college. "

Mid City Burger. 80’s vibe, delicious burgers! Closed Mondays. 3. Worth the drive: Wellington’s @ Carnegie Hotel. Decent breakfast, walked through the library and sat by the fire.4.
