5 Stars – Absolutely Perfect Stay!We cannot say enough great things about this home! We had 9 couples, and every single couple had their own bedroom and bathroom — which made the trip so comfortable and seamless. There was more than enough space for everyone to spread out, relax, and still gather together.We rented golf carts for the full week, which made getting around easy and fun. While there isn’t a huge nightlife scene, we honestly didn’t need it — we made our own fun every night! There are so many coffee shops, bars, and restaurants all within walking distance, which was such a bonus.The in-house staff was absolutely amazing — attentive, friendly, and so helpful throughout our stay. The owners were extremely responsive from start to finish, which made everything stress-free.One of the unexpected highlights? The ice machine at the pool bar! It may sound simple, but it made pool days that much better.We also had a chef come in for two nights, and the food was incredible. Such a fun and delicious experience for our group.Truly not one single issue the entire week. Everything exceeded our expectations. We highly, highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing place to stay … house staff amazing ..chef amazing only reason you have not stayed here is because your thinking about it to long . From the airport pick to airport drop off top shelf our chef Maria “Mari” meals were excellent always on time I will with out doubt choose this house again to stay and would highly recommend to any one PURA VIDA!

The house was beautiful and clean. Large enough for the 18 of us on a family get together. With 9 bedrooms, and all the rooms were large with en-suite bathrooms. The beds were super comfortable. Everyone loved being in the pool which was cleaned every day. The staff was delightful and fulfilled our every need from transportation to knowedge of good restaurants and fun things to do. We rented 2 golf cars which was super helpful in getting to grocery stores, etc. Being right on the ocean, we had spectacular sunsets every night and we had NO rain during our stay. We had a chef cook our dinner one night -- so nice to relax all day and have a delicious dinner prepared for us. Our ages are 11-77 and all loved the house and trip!

This villa is the full package!! From its location right on the beach to the attentive staff and amazingly helpful owners you won’t be disappointed! We utilized the chef services and both meals were outstanding! The maintenance, cleaning and security were very friendly and helpful, what a great team you get with this villa! We honestly can’t wait to come back!! Rent golf carts, visit Pura for breakfast and Gecko’s for lunch or dinner they are within walking distance of the villa! Take a ride on Rickdiculius if it is available during your stay, super fun time and an awesome crew come with it!

Family of 9 ranging in ages from 23 to 54. The house is awesome. The pictures do not do it justice!Golf cart rental is a must and a lot of fun. Lots of great restaurants - not a lot of shopping - not much night life.Super relaxing and exactly what we were looking for only wish we had booked additional days!

Fabulous!!!

Absolutely love this place. The hosts are wonderful, we had food cooked in the house 3 nights and Donna is a wonderful cook. Great restaurants only a golf cart ride away. We will be back!

Family Beach Trip

My family of 16, ages 7-80, enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house and grounds are beautiful, spacious and well cared for. When we had issues Jimmy was there to help. The beach is quiet, which we appreciate, and we loved being able to walk to a few restaurants nearby. All around wonderful experience had by everyone in our group.

Great House for our Large Group!

This was the perfect house for our group of 13. The house has 9 bedrooms so we had plenty of room. The downstairs kitchen/dining/living area is open and roomy. The kitchen is very well equipped. The highlight is the patio with swimming pool that opens up onto the beach. just spectacular. the pool cabana has a bar, ice maker, and gas grill. We spent most of our time enjoying this beautiful space. daily walks on the beach.The location of the house is great, as well. very close to stores and restaurants as well as other beaches. we rented golf carts to get around. never needed a car.house staff was great. daily cleaning of the house and patio/pool area. very friendly staff.the owners were also great to work with. they answered all of our questions via email prior to our trip so there were no surprises. they also hooked us up with companies to book the golf cart rentals, airport transportation, excursions, etc. They have really assembled a great team to make your vacation easy and memorable.We highly recommend this house for large groups that are looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting.

Fabulous

We had an unforgettable vacation at Villa Corazon. The house was absolutely perfect for our family. Having individual climate control for each bedroom was a fantastic feature. It was like having our own private resort. The town of Potrero was very friendly and comfortable.

60th birthday

We loved this house and the staff! They communicated well with us and helped us make the most of our stay. Lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. Chef Anna made great food and then we ate at their restaurant las Brisa’s and danced! Did a catamaran with lazy lizard and loved them too

Family birthday celebration

We were celebrating my wife’s milestone birthdate. The property was amazing and easily accommodates large groups. The 9 bedrooms were spacious with nicely appointed bathrooms. The large dining room fit our group of 14. I would highly recommend getting some meals prepared at the house by their in house staff. Ana was great getting our airport transfers even though there were multiple flight delays. She also set up our excursions- horse back riding, fishing, private sunset catamaran cruise, ATV . Jimmy the property was also awesome and very responsive. I would also recommend renting golf carts from Chip & Jennifer who couldn’t be any nicer. The owners Greg and MacKenzie were very responsive and easy to deal with. This property is one of a kind in a beautiful setting. Thank you again to staff who made our stay so memorable We plan on returning with our grand children Ken

An excellent family vacation

The property was in an excellent location and the pictures accurately represent the home and location. The service provided by the host, property manager, and others such as the pool service, housekeeper, and security were also great. Each person was personable and offered prompt replies to our communications. This all set the ground for a fabulous vacation for the 12 of us. We took our kids and grandkids and I can say every person, ages 2 through 76, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The host, Mackenzie, went beyond to make sure our needs were met andmade perfect referrals such as for tours and transportation with Yellow Fin. Without hesitation we would go back again and will recommend this host and property to others. By the way, we had the personal chef for several meals and we were impressed with their skills and delighted with the food they served - fun and delicious!

Great Stay

I stayed at this property a total of five nights. There were 15 of us, ranging from 1 year old-64 years old. We had an great stay! You can tell the house went through a total renovation recently, and is very modern and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Also very clean. We had chef services three times, all fantastic food. The chefs come on time and get straight to work as well as the cleaning staff. Jimmy, the property manager was our main source of contact. He was very responsive and quick to answer any questions or resolve any issues and that is the best you can ask for. The owners were very responsive as well. Great customer service. Would definitely recommend. And might I add what a beautiful location right on the beach. The house is located walking distance to restaurants. I would suggest renting a car or golf cart for easy transportation because the roads in the neighborhood are very uneven and rocky.

An amazing vacation!!!

Beautiful and spacious! The pictures do not do it justice. Everyone was amazing to work with. Eleven of us stay at the property in July to celebrate my birthday. I worked with Melanie for weeks before my stay to plan events for my guest. When we arrived Jimmy was there to let us in and walk us through the extremely spacious villa. When we had last minute request Jimmy was a quick call away to resolve issue. In addition to event planning I worked with Melanie daily for additional groceries and last minute chef request. Whatever we needed, she was a text away. Thank you to Melanie, Jimmy, the Chef, sous chef and housecleaner for taking great care of us!!!! Pure vida, indeed ❤️❤️

Incredible stay by the ocean

I was blessed to be able to spend my 50th birthday at this property. We had such a wonderful time, and watching the sunsets every night from the house was magical. The location was perfect with many wonderful places to eat only a short walk away. The team at the house was spectacular making us feel very cared for. A huge shout out to Tomas, Janet and Juan Carlos. Make sure you get a massage from Janet. She had magical hands. Jimmy our chef, fed us beautiful breakfasts every morning. We could not ask for a thing more. My only complaint was the obnoxious security light in the back area. I realize it’s there for a reason but it would be nice to be able to turn it off. It obscures the view of the night sky and stars and shines into the bedroom on that side making it hard to sleep. Other than that, no complaints.

Family Vacation

The property is in an amazing location. There were 11 in our party. 6 adults, 2- 9 year old's, 2- 6 year old's and a 19 month old. The kids had a blast at the beach, especially in the morning during low tide. Body surfing was great. It is also a short beach walk into town, which has a very good selection of restaurants. There are also several beaches in the area, that are worth visiting. The pool is as advertised and is refreshing. There are jets for a hot tub experience but we did not find how to turn on heat, if it was available. There are ample outdoor showers to wash away the sand., and ample beach towels. The property is worn and dated. The 5 bedrooms and 5 baths and AC in the bedrooms worked well. All bedrooms have king sized beds. The 5th upstairs bedroom is musty and dark and I would rate not that great. In a way the worn and dated was a pro as we had 5 children in our group. Tomas and his wife Janet do a great job cleaning the property. They were there daily. The kitchen is well stocked. We did a chef night twice and that worked out well. We would do that again. A fan blade on one of the porch fans broke off and flew across the patio.. Had one of my grandchildren been around when it happened, it could have been tragic. We left the fans off the the remainder of the stay. It also made us uneasy to use any of the interior fans. No inspection was done. Most of the lights in the fans are out and were not addressed during our stay. So the interior light is adequate but not great. If you are going to rent a golf cart don't wait. There is limited availability. If you rent a golf cart, there is also new marina near by to visit. There is also Uber service and taxi service in the area. My daughter and her husband and two children took Spanish lessons. There is a school nearby and runs from 8 until noon. It is very family friendly and they were very positive about the experience. The hosts directed us to Dervin and he handled all of our tours through his company, Yellowfin. He was outstanding and also managed some of our transportation. He is reliable, dependable, and his tour pricing seems fair compared to the prices posted on web sites. Jimmy, also directed to us by the hosts took care of our chef meals and follows up with Tomas on repairs, like the screens on the doors, that were ripped when we arrived. Jimmy will also pre shop your groceries.. We found that beneficial and one less thing we did not need to do when we arrived.

Great Home, Great Location

My husband, children, in-laws and I (11 in all) had a wonderful time. The home was perfect for our needs, and the on-site caretakers, Tomas and Janet, were wonderful. The location is beautiful--right on the beach, which provided many hours of enjoyment, along with the excellent swimming pool. Plenty of things to do nearby, along with very good restaurants. We would do it again anytime. We are not newbies to Costa Rica by any means, but this has been our favorite property and location so far. LM
