What sold us on this apartment was the listing’s beautiful photograph of the immaculate roof deck with patio furniture. That photograph was an AI fake. The view from the roof was indeed beautiful, but the furniture was falling apart, the cushions were filthy and torn, their stuffing falling out, and the roof was crumbling, filthy and unsightly. This impeded our use of the roof, which was the primary reason we selected this property.Inside, the apartment was serviceable, although the paint is crumbling and peeling in several of the rooms and some of the cabinets are falling apart. Also, the locks on the building front door and apartment door cannot be opened from the inside unless you have a key and at first, they only gave us one set of keys, so if we separated, we would have to leave the apartment unlocked so as not to lock the person remaining inside the apartment. Once we asked for an extra set of keys, they provided another set a day later.The apartment is at eye level with several other apartments in the area and there are no window treatments in the living room or the kitchen area. In the bedroom, there are curtains rather than blinds (as they have elsewhere in Israel), so you have the choice of being completely exposed or being completely dark.Apart from the above, the location is outstanding and the apartment is just fine for two people. The view from the roof deck is indeed outstanding. And the management company will respond if you press them for help.
