"A lovely village pub. I didn’t have a dinner, however, the breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was really nice, with freshly made coffee, which was good. The rooms are above the pub, my window faced the outdoor patio but I didn’t find it noisy. The room was large with a comfy double bed, and a nice sofa style chair for one. "Easy quick check-in, room nice and clean, comfortable bed, usb plugs handy, glad a fan was provided. We ate in the pub too, food was very good. We only stayed the one night. Good location, close to A1, but not so close you got noise. "

"Had a wonderful stay at a wonderful pub. Location is perfect and character of the pub is amazing. Lovely locally brewed beer and great food. Bad timing on our part that the brewery was closed so couldn't do the tour but gives u great excuse to go back. "
