"This is a large, lovely old house. I had a HUGE bedroom that was probably one of the original reception rooms in the house. Access to the house was easy and as explained although I did have to lug my heavy luggage up several stairs to get to the front door. I appreciated having a downstairs bathroom opposite my room as I had occasion to use it several times during the night. There was mood lighting in the bedroom and a desktop lamp but I really needed a bedside lamp as the high ceilings meant...

"I suddenly needed to stay for one more night on my own, so I made a last-minute booking on the day. Even though I arrived just before the check-in time, the host gave me a warm and thoughtful welcome. The room was well maintained, especially the bathroom, and everything was very clean. This stay helped me a lot, and I really appreciated it!"
