"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

"The clean and well equipped rooms are in a separate building to the pub itself so there are no food smells or customer noise. The setting is lovely with walks and the marina nearby. There is plenty of parking (free). All in all, great value for money."

The phone number that was with the booking was supposed to be a helpdesk with the operator being anything but helpful. We had a look for help at the property but could not find anyone on two separate occasions; we were also astounded to discover that the accommodation was in the middle of a wedding venue and NOT the wedding we were attending. "The staff were very nice and extremely helpful. The room was nice and the location great. It is nice to be close to Morrisons grocery store as you can pick up whatever you need there. "

"I had made a call prior to check in to request parking, advised to get there early and ask at desk. This was incorrect and there were no spaces available. At 15.12, after standing in a queue for over 15 mins I am told my room was not ready, the manager came out and was totally disinterested in me as a customer, but found one that would be in another 5 mins. No apology what's so ever!! The staff member said I hope it will be better next time, to which I replied "I doubt there will be a next...

"No parking . Their own parking across the road was £10 per night. The breakfast let our stay down. The staff repeatedly got the orders wrong and the cooked breakfast was very poor quality. I don’t recommend the vegetarian breakfast. The lamps on the tables need removing as they are at eye level and you can’t see each other! "
