"All staff I encountered where exceptionally friendly and helpful with good knowledge of local area. Lovely choices of full hot and cold buffet breakfast. Fantastic evening meals in the restaurant, though limited choice if staying more than two nights. Amazing location just a few hundred yards from the Cathedral and Castle at a reasonable price. Very clean comfortable room overlooking the Cathedral with everything you need. Best sleep ever! Definitely returning."
"I had made a call prior to check in to request parking, advised to get there early and ask at desk. This was incorrect and there were no spaces available. At 15.12, after standing in a queue for over 15 mins I am told my room was not ready, the manager came out and was totally disinterested in me as a customer, but found one that would be in another 5 mins. No apology what's so ever!! The staff member said I hope it will be better next time, to which I replied "I doubt there will be a next...
" Dry comfortable room. Didn’t eat in the hotel as there are lots of great options nearby. Bar is pleasant though. Ideally located for the historic area of Lincoln"

"Gosh I paid £100 per night for the two previous hotels and they gave nothing except coffee and one of them was a premier executive room. But the generosity and attention to detail in this hotel was staggering. Honestly I was truly impressed at how the owner went out of his way to make everything perfect. And for an extremely exceptional price. Thank you very much for a superb stay. Will certainly return and recommend u anytime. "
"We stayed as we are renovating after a house move and the plasterer had taken over the house. It was a welcome break from the daily work of clearing up after tradesmen! The staff were lovely and the food good. We may be back - depending on how things progress at home!"

"I had made a call prior to check in to request parking, advised to get there early and ask at desk. This was incorrect and there were no spaces available. At 15.12, after standing in a queue for over 15 mins I am told my room was not ready, the manager came out and was totally disinterested in me as a customer, but found one that would be in another 5 mins. No apology what's so ever!! The staff member said I hope it will be better next time, to which I replied "I doubt there will be a next time"
When I went to dinner my choice, battered haddock wasn't available, i think on a Saturday early evening this is totally unacceptable.
The shower screen had black mould along the bottom which had been sealed in with sillicon, the kettle lid was broken making a refil almost impossible and the hairdryer had no nozzle to style my hair..
Resulting in "I won't be booking with you again".
