"Once at the apartment we wished we were staying longer than one night. The owner’s attention to detail, from the comfy furnishings to providing fresh eggs, gave us the feeling of being in someone’s home. They really understand and carry out the meaning of hospitality and help create a unique and pleasant experience. And being in the historic neighborhood made the experience that much better."

"This was the perfect location for our needs. My husband was having open-heart surgery and we stayed the Blue Heron the night before so we wouldn't have to worry about traffic. I continued to stay on for a few days later to be close to the hospital - it was only .8 of a mile away! The home is nicely laid out with all the comforts you might need, including farm fresh eggs, pastries, and coffee. The home is in the historic district, not far from schools, so it was quiet and I felt safe staying...

"Convenient, attractive downtown location for walking. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The floodlights were annoying. The rooms were broken up in an awkward manner. The furniture was totally wrong for us seniors: high table and chairs, a sofa that put us so far down that it was nearly impossible to get up. The "smart" television was too tricky to navigate. All we needed were the basic channels."

"Vrbo lists this as a one bedroom one bath. In reality it’s a studio in a small house that’s been poorly converted to a duplex. The walls are thin. You’ll hear almost everything the other tenants are doing. They also share one alarm system so every time the other tenant opens their doors you hear the system chime. "Overall nice place and very nice host. Place could use some work and detailed cleaning. We saw evidence of past mice (droppings), but no current activity. We also saw a couple roaches (it is Florida), but the pest control sprayed while we were there. I would stay there again."
