"This property is as advertised. Actually, there was a major improvement in the primary bath from the time we booked in August of 2023 until we stayed at the house in March of 2024. A shower was added to the bathroom which was a wonderful addition. All of the main living areas look out over the bay. There are 2 screened porches which were so useful as well. "Dauphin pod was a great dog friendly place to stay for my husband and I. It was centrally located on the Island. The beach was about a .5 mile walk so I would suggest taking a little wagon to haul your beach gear. It was very clean and had all the essentials! Communication with the host was very quick."

"We had a great time at this little cottage. Plenty of space for our group to spread out. Kayaks, the outdoor patio, boat ramp all a huge plus. Kitchen also had everything we needed and the enclosed porch was a huge bonus. Quiet, and the mattresses were quite comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!!"

The pool was a bit cold - but was expected given the time of year. We Vrbo homes often for vacations- the pictures were exactly like the house. Parking a bit tight- but after a couple of days we got the hang of it. Property owner was responsive upon check in. Quiet neighborhood."

"Battery was dead on door lock, so we could not get into house. The owner fixed the problem quickly and without drama. Given the remote location of the house this issue warrants comment."

"We booked this rental for over 2 months while we were relocating and looking for a home of our own. We brought our dog and the host was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. The location is beautiful and a short walk to the beach and its very dog friendly. The rental was clean and inviting. Plenty of room for 6 or more guests. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and grill was available also. We loved the private screened in porch in the back to enjoy morning coffee and evening...

"We stayed for a month at this lovely cottage. The location, 7 miles from Gulf Shores' main drag, was perfect, close enough for convenient outings, far enough from the hubbub. The cottage had comfortable beds, decorated nicely, kitchen had everything we needed. Best of all, we were able to bring our dog, with a fenced yard, and ample room for him to stretch his legs. Our host was accessible with great communication. Highly recommended!"

"I loved the area and the access to the beach. We had to go down to the office several times because I never got the notification that the room was ready, never received my welcome packet with my wifi code in it. The office staff was not the friendliest. Other than that, I do recommend this facility. The room was clean and exactly like the picture. "
