"I go "out of my way" to stay at this wonderful, clean hotel in Albert Lea, MN. Whether traveling with family (and pets) or for business, I look forward to the friendly, attentive staff, the thoughtfully appointed and immaculately clean rooms, properly working sink, shower, lights, heating/cooling, TV, Wi-Fi, etc. This is simply a first-class operation."

"The check-in process was easy, and the employee who greeted us was very nice and helpful. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but there were a few things that could have been improved. When we went to bed that evening, we noticed quite a few hairs on both beds. We decided to just brush it off and get some rest, but the morning clerk was able to address the issue and take care of it. "Rooms were large, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was normal hotel quality and opened early. Plenty of parking, even with a boat. The hotel was completely full do to a kids baseball tournament. The room we were assigned was next to pool so sleep was optional. The only down side."

Breakfast wasn’t extravagant, but it had fresh fruit and pretty much just the right things you needed to get the day going in a healthy manner. Really happy with our stay here. It’s really close to the gamehaven bike trails for our race this weekend."

The robust smell of carpet fresh in the room (what was it covering up?). Tin/shower combo was extremely slippery and I had to be very careful while using (no safety bars). Breakfast was decent. "The windows of the room allowed all the noise from the road and parking lot to come to the room. Room was full of human hair. This hotel doesn’t care or doesn’t receive your messages you send through hotels.com. Front desk staff quite unpleasant and non helpful. Hotel has other rooms available but front desk refused to put us in a cleaned room and without noise from the entrance of the hotel. Air conditioning is old and makes lots of noise during night. "The mattress on the bed was well used. A dip in the middle. 😏 The shower/tub in the bathroom was slippery when using the shower. My husband almost fell. There was no closet. However, it was quiet and the staff was very gracious. We will stay there again."
