"We stayed for seven days. It was uncomfortable to only have two forks two spoons. We had to wash every time we ate. It felt like the space had been sitting a while. There were lots of spiderwebs. The fans had a coat of dust on them. That was sickening. This is my first negative review ever! I appreciated the beautiful Patuxent river and the quick response and communication with the owner. "The Ironclad Inn was a welcome respite on a long drive while relocating. The beds were very comfortable, linens were beautiful, and the Inn itself was gorgeous and very well maintained. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the neighborhood is very quiet and quaint. The best part was that knowing that we had an early start and would miss breakfast, Sarah prepared smoothie bowls with fresh fruit and granola for us to take with us. A lovely gesture and much apreciated!"
