"the trip itself was mostly good, not a real good start though. first i want to make it clear that the gal who checked us in did a very good job considering what she had to deal with. what happened was this: we arrived and parked in front of the bldg and had to walk past some Hispanic people who were smoking pot right out in public, like its legal in Idaho. we walked in and to the desk and theres one of the hispanic guys (who smelled like a walking joint) giving the desk girl grief over some...

"This was the nicest of the three nights that we spent in various motels throughout the northwest; however, it had the worst mattress and we could not get the room to cool down."

"For an older Motel, this is a good inexpensive option. The room was big, roomy, clean. The bed was very comfortable with nice crisp sheets. The black-out curtains worked nicely to keep out the light. Bathroom was clean and had a nice big tub/shower. Nice staff, friendly and helpful. The parking lot is big and well lit. I would stay again."

"The Sourdough Lodge was wonderful. The room was small but clean and comfortable, with a refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. The coffee filters leaked, and an option of tea would be nice. The area around the lodge is absolutely gorgeous. The staff in the store and restaurant were very nice and helpful. Dinner and a beer were wonderful. I only got to stay one night, but I will be back!"
