"This hotel was nice, room was good size and very clean. It was a little hot but had a fan. Check in easy and friendly.
Dinners and breakfast was good however a little slow at times.

O café da manhã é bem típico da Inglaterra, só sentimos falta de queijo e variedades de pães, mas nada que impactasse na qualidade do serviço. Adoramos o hotel, ficaríamos lá novamente e indicaremos com certeza!"
"Just amazing, I could not fault a thing. Perfect location, easy onsite parking, massive room with a stunning view of the harbour. Super friendly staff, great range of beers in ‘The Pub’. Beautifully cooked & presented breakfast. 100% spot on. Will definitely go back & stay again."

"We loved the atmosphere of the Alverton and its grounds. There was plenty of space for parking and the reception was only a short walk.
The rooms we had were very well presented and very clean. I have marked down on the eco credentials as all the lights and television were on when we arrived which wasn't necessary.
The terrace was a great place to sit in the late afternoon for a pre-dinner drink. At times the bar staff were talking to each other rather than looking after customers needs but...
"The moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed with the outstanding beauty of the countryside and with the quality of the hotel which was also very spacious. We felt very pampered by the facilities provided. Maria in charge of the breakfast showed unprecedented professionalism and was very welcoming.
I would have liked to have seen a few seats scattered around outside, other than just by the clubhouse. Nevertheless we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff."

"O check-in foi um frustante: chegamos três horas antes do horário marcado e nos informaram que o check-in garantido seria às 16h. Até agora, tudo bem, como manda a política do hotel. O problema foi chegar às 16h e nos informarem que ainda não tínhamos quarto, enquanto outros hóspedes estavam sem problemas. Depois de alguma certa confusão, um quarto ficou pronto imediatamente. Então, acho que isso poderia ter sido evitado, principalmente pois sabiam que já estávamos aguardando o check-in.
Outro ponto ruim foi o café da manhã, eu já tinha pago na reserva, o que funcionou, mas meu filho só toma cappuccino pela manhã e esta bebida teve que ser pago à parte - ridículo um hotel 4 estrelas cobrar algo à parte por um café da manhã que já tinha sido pago.
Fora isso, o hotel é bastante confortável, bem localizado e tem boa infraestrutura, exceto pelo estacionamento limitado, que às vezes pode ser difícil de encontrar.
Não pude dar uma avaliação melhor porque algumas expectativas não foram atendidas."
"Hotel corresponde ao informado, com instalações em "estado de novo" e uma oferta surpreendente de vinho/queijo de cortesia no final da tarde do dia de entrada. Bastante central e perto de tudo."
