"The property itself is great. Friendly staff, clean room, clean common areas and convenient parking. The breakfast was a huge disappointment. Everything empty (and not refilled in a timely manner) and an absolute mess. Trash overflowing, food all over the counters and floors, tables unclean, etc. We ended up finding a restaurant and paying for breakfast. This is unfortunate because the free breakfast was an amenity that we specifically looked for since we are traveling with kids. "
"If you are planning on traveling to Perryville Missouri, this is the place you need to stay. We have traveled here many times and used to stay at the super 8 before this place was built, but since then have always stayed at Holiday inn. All the employees from the front desk to the breakfast staff are super helpful and friendly. Everything is always super clean. "It was a great place to stay. Even though a casino is attached to the hotel, it seemed like we were in a nice secluded area of Cape Girardeau. Everything was like new and very nice. Even had a Starbucks so we were able to get a refreshment before we got back on the road. The only down side was that it was about five miles from the interstate but it was a minor inconvenience. Would love to stay there again. "
"quick check in. early check in was not an issue. room is clean and well equipped. TV was easy to operate. They do allow dogs one of which decided to pee on a bag of ours as we were outside our vehicle. dogs should always be on a leash. although the owner apologized she found it humorous. "
"Stayed here with my two kids and had a great experience! We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but we saw a lot of happy guests coming out of it, so it definitely looked like a hit. The breakfast was excellent—lots of variety and everything was fresh. The hotel was clean and well-kept. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay for our little family!"
"Lots of nice touches in the room. Very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food at the resturand was very good. Hotel free breakfast was very good tasting. (Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon and potatoes and many other options)They used real dishes and silverware. Real glass drinking glasses in the room as well. Plenty of coffee packets in the room so we didnt have to always ask for more. Appliances worked perfectly and were.clean. Just a nice overall experience. "
