"Amazing atmosphere inside and out...great attention to detail, very accommodating. Hot tub and firepit were highlights along with the full moon rising over the river. Fishing was the only struggle... complicated by periods of rain and running of the generators for the dam."

"Check in was fairly easy. The kitchen was acceptable and functional. I appreciated the necessary components to prepare meals. Newer cookware and bakeware would have been more useful but, I made do with what was there. I can imagine how hard it is to keep those items updated and in good condition though. WiFi worked flawlessly for entertainment. Neighborhood was very quiet and safe. During a stormy evening, everyone was content to stay in and watch a movie or play pool and not go exploring around...

"We have stayed in Blue Ridge several times before and like the area very much because we like to kayak and hike. This particular rental was absolutely the nicest place we have stayed. It was large, very clean, had everything you could want and was well located. I spent 2 evenings sitting by a fire in the fire ring outside with a fire, a glass of wine and a book! Heaven. Oh, and we could bring our dog. The yard was nice for her."

"I would have to describe this as the quintessential mountain cabin! It was just as described and as the photos indicate....the creek is literally right outside your door. To hear the running water was so peaceful and calming. I stayed with my spouse for an anniversary trip. We both really enjoyed it. Morning coffee on the back deck was great. My wife enjoyed jogging through woods - all she kept saying was how quiet it was. I fished in the stream - caught a fish too! We saw more deer...

"Everything was nice. Kitchen great, Wi-Fi good but no news channel found. The sofa needs support.I would suggest a non slip mat in shower, very slippery when wet.The notes and sayings on the walls made it even more comforting.Over all it was a wonderful getaway for a husband and wife celebrating an anniversary. "We had an excellent time in this cabin! 5-8 minute drive to get downtown. Rooms were spacious and there were things in the cabin to keep us occupied (darts, pool table, hot tub, etc.). There were neighbors immediately to the left and a little further on the right so this is not a totally isolated cabin. Just be aware that it is a one-lane mountain road to get up to the cabin, so if you're staying during the winter, icy conditions might affect your going up or down. We stayed for a week in the...
