"Easy check-in, excellent staff, good bar area (again, excellent staff). Very good food, super local brews. Comfortable bed, great breakfast. Oh, and nice beer garden to boot. Would come here again and, if I lived locally, it would definitely be a regular haunt. Staff are superb."

"Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year."

"As basic as they get. Just enough to meet your needs for 1 or 2 nights. The price felt fair for what you got…a bed, shower and tv. Having said that, the mattress needs replacing and the shower had no soap in it."

"After driving seven hours I arrived only to be told by a receptionist with a passing acquaintance with English, that the room was no longer available. Due to the sizeable event I was attending all the other hotels in the area were full, so I drove back the same night. "Premises would be best described as Runmere MOTEL. The accommodation block is detatched and across the car park from main reception area. OK if you like US style Motel accommodation, I personally din't and would not have booked if I had been aware of this. Rooms are very basic, but adequate. "It was easy to self check in and the room had everything needed for a great stay including the breakfast box. We took the dog with us and the room was ideal with plenty of room for us. We didn't see any staff as all the information was sent via phone. The staff member I spoke to on the phone to add the dog was very helpful and efficient. Lovely place to stay."

"Beautiful place in a lovely part of the world. Lakes and ponds with gardens. On-site spa with its own peace gardens with loungers (and waterfall!). The spa is worth a visit alone.
