"We had a wedding about 10 minutes from the property and it was perfect for us and our college kids to meet up. Spacious and a wonderful, quiet location for us to relax before the wedding. Plenty of space for us all to get ready and sleep comfortably. The back deck was great for us to have a few cocktails and enjoy to beautiful weather. Our stay here made our time together relaxing and enjoyable."

"We were looking for a quiet, peaceful, lakefront cottage and Firefly Lodge delivered. We enjoyed coffee on the dock every morning and were joined by the ducks and loons. The highlight for us was watching the supermoon rise over the lake. It seemed like you could reach out and touch it. The owners were great and made sure we had no problems. We hope to be able to visit again"

"Fathers and sons trip to the area for Cooperstown’s Memorial Day weekend activities. Property is within 40 minutes of Cooperstown. Plenty of food and grocery choices located nearby, in a quaint and quiet town. The house is located in an up and coming neighborhood and definitely stands out among its neighbors. The house has been beautifully remodeled and was perfect, with plenty of space, for our group of 10. Thank you for a great experience!"

"1890s Elegant mansion with great bones and almost completely restored. Pool would be big plus in summer and game room definitely a plus, though some equipment needed repair. Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. "We booked this last minute when we realized we wouldn’t have any kids for Memorial Day weekend and am so happy we did. Everything was exactly what we needed it to be. I can imagine the stairs to the loft might be an issue for some people but we didn’t have any problems with it. The terrain of the path to the shared dock was a bit rough especially if you have your hands full but pretty much what one should expect in the Adirondacks. "This is the best rental property I’ve ever been to. The location was right on the water in our own private little corner, the house was newly renovated and beautiful and it was the perfect layout for a group with the open floor plan. The house was fully stocked with everything from bug spray and sunscreen to all utensils/plates/pots/etc. The weekend was perfect and we plan to come back every year!"
