Torrs Warren Country House has 10 tastefully furnished double and twin rooms, suites or family rooms.

Torrs Warren is an ideal base to explore all the sites and activities available in this area, with many varied gardens, golf courses and coastal footpaths close by. This area really is beautiful with great beaches, a wide range of activities, lovely countryside and more.

Each room is different and has been refurbished with Tartan and oak decor. Some suites are larger than others, perfect to suit everyone's needs, and all have a modern bath and/or shower. Our Hotel , is set in beautiful countryside in the south west of Scotland Rhins area of Dumfries and Galloway on the Scottish Borders. It really is a home from home with two fireplaces, books, lounges .

We have designed it to be comfortable, homely, and as if you were your own country house, serving breakfast .

A former vicarage set in its own gardens, in two and half acres, with views to the sea, the hotel is a good base for exploring the local area with golf clubs, beaches, secluded coves, gardens, forests, a neighbouring park with play area and walks all close and just five miles from Portpatrick, eight miles from Cairnryan for the ferry port.

The house has warm comfortable surroundings, lovely gardens, is beside the park, with a pond, beer garden, and sea views.

Nearby are various exotic gardens such as the Logan Botanical, Castle Kennedy, the Ardwell Estate, Glenwhan or Dunskey gardens which all are beautiful to visit.

We have 10 individual rooms & suites, each with their own bathrooms with bath or shower or both ,TV, ironing boards, hairdryers and free WiFi.

We have superior king or larger Suites with sofas, as well as deluxe, or small doubles and twins available, and family rooms, some with connecting rooms.

We also have two comfortable resident lounges and a library with TV, where you can sit by the fire and read the newspapers, or just relax and watch TV, or perhaps read from our extensive library that surrounds the lounge.

All of our rooms have a traditional Scottish Tartan theme running throughout, with a slightly different feel , oak furniture and fittings; from the superior Royal Blue and Pink rooms with their high ceilings and sofas to relax on, to the views from the Bay Front overlooking the gardens, or the two superior suites with their own entrances, to the smaller but still beautiful Wee Room, Wee Front , Robbie and Blue rooms- we have a room perfect for you.

The Robbie Room is on the ground floror. Our family room is located on the second floor.

We can provide catering ( extra cost ) can serve a delicious breakfast and dinner .

The minimum party size is 16 and all stays must be two nights

We have a comfortable quaint cosy bar , and lounge or library , in which to enjoy a drink .

Our restaurant will be closed for the winter months, other than for pre-existig groups.

During the winter the house our restaurant is also a perfect venue for large groups that we can provide a bespoke service for , and we can also be a perfect shooting lodge .

Unfortunately we do not accept dogs, however we do have a resident Alpacas, Patch and Porridge.
