Other local landmarks and attractions include Knockinaam Wood, Lochnaw Castle, Killantringan Lighthouse and the Stoneykirk Aviation Museum, all within 7.5 miles. Logan Botanic Garden and the Port Logan Fish Pond are to the south (16 miles), or you can head north to the bustling town of Stranraer (8 miles), which sits along the shores of Loch Ryan. To the east, popular places of interest include Glenluce Abbey, Glenwhan Gardens, and Castle Kennedy Gardens, all within 15 miles. Bring your golf clubs to play a round at the stunning links courses at either Portpatrick or nearby Stranraer.
