Welcome to Chalet at Edson, your gateway to the best of Stowe! Nestled in a fantastic location, our chalet offers unparalleled convenience and access to everything this charming town has to offer.

Centrally located, we're just a quick 7-minute drive from both the excitement of Stowe Mountain Resort and the quaint village of Stowe. For added convenience, a mere 2-minute walk takes you to the Mountain Road shuttle bus stop or the recreational path, perfect for exploring the area on foot or bike.

Surrounded by nature's beauty, our chalet is an ideal retreat for outdoor enthusiasts. Discover excellent restaurants nearby, indulge in mountain adventures, or explore the scenic biking, walking, and cross-country trails that Stowe is renowned for.

The chalet features a well-appointed kitchen, spacious living room, and dining area, along with a dedicated area equipped with a games table, ideal for family game nights or use as a functional workspace.

The chalet offers comfortable sleeping arrangements designed for convenience and privacy. On the first floor, the master bedroom features a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, two cozy bedrooms each include a full bed and a twin bed, sharing a well-equipped bathroom. Additionally, there is a convenient guest cloakroom located on the first floor, perfect for families or groups.

Outside, a beautiful patio area and garden beckons as a peaceful retreat during the summer months and a cozy spot to unwind in the spring and fall. It features comfortable seating areas, an inviting outdoor firepit, and a barbecue grill for enjoyable gatherings and meals outdoors.

Guests are also welcome to utilise the garage/shed for securely storing bikes, skis, or other outdoor equipment.

Comfortable place

The house was very convenient and comfortable. The AC really helped keep the humidity at bay. Helen was very responsive and promptly helped us get in the house because the door code was incorrect. Would stay there again!

Wonderful Experience!

Cozy, perfect location! Last minute trip for two nights with our two college age sons and family dog. Perfectly located between the village of Stowe and Stowe Ski Resort. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and very clean. Helen was AMAZING to work with as we were having yr with the app. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Great Stowe Getaway

The house is conveniently located off Mountain Road - close to town and the mountain. We just stayed overnight, but it had everything we needed. The three bedroom home was perfect for me and my wife and three of our adult children. The host Helen was great, always available and responsive - very easy process. Loved the local beers she supplied for us in the fridge. A really nice house - we would use it again.

The perfect getaway!

I just recently stayed here with my husband, 2 small dogs, my parents and my brother for a family vacation. I wasn't sure what to expect because I've only ever stayed in hotels. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! The check in and check out process was very easy. Helen remembered I was traveling with 2 dogs and she provided a towel for each of them and dog bowls. I wasn't expecting that but I can tell you that was thoughtful and I appreciated it. The chalet is so incredibly cozy and it feels like home. There are 2 full bathrooms and 1/2 bath which is connected to the living room. This definitely came in handy with 5 people under one roof. There are plenty of board games and cards to play for a night in. There is also a backgammon and chess table. The bedrooms are very spacious and also cozy. Me my husband and my 2 dogs slept on the first floor master. The bed and sheets are SO COMFORTABLE which I am not used to with regular hotels. There are blackout shades in the bedroom which helps block out light in the morning. The actual location of the chalet is out of the way but still very close to just about everything. The first night we arrived Helen sent me a text making sure everything was to our liking and even suggested some places to eat for dinner. I highly suggest this chalet. Mark and Helen are incredible hosts. Thank you so much for making our 2023 family vacation so lovely! 10/10 would recommend.

Great Location

We loved being so close to the beautiful bike path and all the shops in Stowe. The house is very clean and Helen is very accommodating to any need. And it was a nice touch having complimentary treats left in the frig.

Amazing Stay in Stowe

We stayed with Helen and Mark for alittle over a month and had a wonderful time! The cabin is much bigger than we anticipated and the location can’t be beat. Helen and mark were great with communication and mark even came by to welcome us and offer some great recommendations. Highly recommend their wonderful property if you’re in Stowe!

Perfect rental for a family

My family loved this rental! Helen was great to communicate with before the trip and for the checkin process. She provided great hospitality and there were plenty of bedrooms and beds for our family. The location of the rental was perfect too because it was on the same road as 2 restaurants we like and close to the bike path and town as well as the mountain. Our family enjoyed the outside patio and fire pit too! We liked that it was a little set back from the road so our dogs didn’t bark a lot too. We have no complaints about this property! Perfect holiday getaway!

This home is even cuter than the pictures and had everything we needed for a family holiday weekend. It was clean, comfortable, and very well appointed - the hosts had even decorated it for Christmas for us! We had one day without power due to storms, but the gas stove kept us warm and cozy and our hosts brought us flashlights and chargers for our phones. The location is perfect - incredibly close to the mountain and easy access to town. Our dogs were happy looking out the big windows into the woods and loved playing in the snowy yard. We hope to retrun!

Winter Vacation Stay

The location is great with the bus stop right at the end of the road. Stowe is a short ride - everything is about 3 miles away. Home is clean and space efficient. Kitchen is well equiped and ready for cooking meals. Quiet neighborhood is perfect for relaxing and accommodating noisy teens. Owners ate thoughtful and responsive.

Picturesque Stay in Stowe

Myself and my family took a long weekend in Stowe at this property and it was perfect for our trip. The house was so cute, well maintained, and clean. Beds were cozy and everything worked as you would need. We got plenty of use out of the fireplace, basketball goal and firepit. Helen was a great communicator and made us feel so welcome in their chalet. She went above and beyond to ensure we'd have everything we needed for our visit. We made great family memories here and would absolutely book again.
