"The hotel was convenient to our conference location and a restaurant was within walking distance. Thr room was nice and clean, however the walls seemed paper thin as you could hear everything. The elevator was broken at the time of our stay but there was staff willing to carry luggage up to our room if we needed. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was available to help keep costs down. Would stay again."

"The double queen room was very old and outdated. Whatever chemicals they use to clean were so strong it gave me a migraine. The mattresses were AWFUL. By the time we got back from Mount Rushmore, there was no one in the office and the mattresses were so terrible we couldn’t stay. We ended up leaving at 11pm and continued on our trip. Will not be back!"

"Great service from the entire hotel staff (check-in/check-out, breakfast, information, etc.). Good options and replenishment at breakfast, easy access and excellent location for a trip through South Dakota!"

"When we arrived the front desk staff let me know my reservation was cancelled because I was considered a “no show” even though I let them know ahead of time we would be arriving at 2am. Staff then told me the room was no longer available, but had another room for another EXTRA $35. So we asked if he had anything cheaper or could at least help us out as there was obviously some miscommunication. Not sure how OUR room was booked between 12am and 2am as I had the room reserved. He was not helpful...

"Surprisingly nice hotel - it would be perfect for people attending events at the monument. They have a very nice pool, breakfast was good and they offered a reception with drinks and popcorn at night including a cultural training from a Lakota gentleman. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The laundry on site was handy and the staff were super helpful as well. The gym is in the basement so we didn’t end up using that and the hot tub jets didn’t work."

"Room was extremely disgusting!!! Mold growing all over, could smell it the whole time we were in the room. You could see where they would try to paint over it on the popcorn ceiling. No exhaust fan in the bathroom so humidity bred mold growth. I became very ill from the smell and growth. Left a night early and they wouldn’t refund due to not giving a 24 hr notice even though it was due to their noxious issues. The sheets and everything reeked from the smell.
